Abstract: 
The goal of this thesis is to thoroughly investigate the occupational risks that airborne particles present, with an emphasis on how these risks affect human health and how effective different management strategies are. The study explores the wide spectrum of particles found in work settings, such as dust, fumes, and aerosols, and their related health hazards, such as cancer, cardiovascular impacts, and respiratory illnesses, by integrating previous studies. Additionally, it assesses the efficacy of the control strategies—which include engineering controls, administrative measures, and personal protective equipment—that are used to reduce exposure. This thesis aims to offer important insights for occupational health professionals, policymakers, and industries trying to protect the health of workers exposed to airborne particles through a systematic review and analysis of empirical studies, regulatory guidelines, and industry practices.
