Abstract: 
The aim of the research paper is to discuss the complex definition of workplace violence, focusing on its impact on individuals and the workplace environment. It brings up the various forms of violence that can occur in the workplace, including physical and psychological harm, among with other factors contributing to its prevalence such as stigma, shame, and lack of awareness around the topic. The research paper also explores the different dynamics in which workplace violence can occur in, between employers and third parties, among employees, and between employees and employers. It highlights the need for a comprehensive understanding of workplace violence and increased awareness around the topic to effectively address and prevent it from happening. Additionally, the impact of workplace violence on the mental health of workers, highlighting increased rates of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. It brings up the importance of creating a safe and supportive work environment to decrease the negative effects of violence on employees and overall safety of work. In summary the research paper discusses different strategies for preventing workplace violence, including raising awareness, implementing clear policies, and encouraging open communication between employees and employers.
