Latvijas seksuāli aktīvu jauniešu HIV prevencijas uzvedības atbilstība AIDS riska mazināšanas modelim

Abstract

Darba tēma: Latvijas seksuāli aktīvu jauniešu HIV prevencijas uzvedības atbilstība AIDS riska mazināšanas modelim. Darba mērķis: Noskaidrot, kā izpaužas AIDS riska mazināšanas modelī ietvertie uzvedību ietekmējošie faktori Latvijas studentu auditorijā. Pētāmais jautājums: Kā izpaužas AIDS riska mazināšanas modelī ietvertie uzvedības ietekmes faktori Latvijas studentu auditorijā? Iegūtie rezultāti parāda, ka uzskati, par to, ka prezervatīvs samazina risku inficēties ar HIV, ietekmē jauniešus prezervatīvus lietot vairāk. Jaunieši, kuri atrodas ilgstošās attiecībās, partnera iespaidā, nelieto prezervatīvus, lai gan apzinās, ka to lietošana var samazināt risku inficēties ar HIV. Tas, ka prezervatīvus nevar iegādāties diskrēti, neizjūtot kaunu, var kavēt jauniešus tos iegādāties. Lai mazinātu risku inficēties ar HIV, jaunieši ir gatavi mudināt partnerus lietot prezervatīvus, runāt ar partneri par izsargāšanos un prezervatīvu lietošanas nozīmīgumu, regulāri pārbaudīties pie ārstiem un veikt HIV testa analīzes. Pētījumā atklāts, ka jaunieši, kuri uztver augstu risku, ka viņus personīgi ietekmēs inficēšanās ar HIV, iesaistās uzvedībā, lai samazinātu slimības attīstības risku, savukārt jaunieši, kuri neuztver augstu risku (tie, kuri ir attiecībās) iesaistās uzvedībā, kas varētu palielināt risku inficēties ar HIV. Rezultāti liecina, ka ARRM ir efektīvs, lai izprastu faktorus, kas ietekmē izvairīšanos no HIV inficēšanās riska. Theme of the work: Compliance of the HIV prevention behavior of sexually active Latvian youth with the AIDS risk reduction model. The purpose of the work: To find out how the factors affecting behavior included in the AIDS risk reduction model are manifested in the audience of Latvian students. Research question: How are the behavioral influence factors contained in the AIDS risk reduction model manifested in the Latvian student audience? The obtained results show that beliefs that condoms reduce the risk of HIV infection influence young people to use condoms more. Young people who are in a long-term relationship, under the influence of a partner, do not use condoms because the other wants it, although they themselves are aware that their use can reduce the risk of getting infected with HIV, because this possibility always exists. The fact that condoms cannot be purchased discreetly without feeling shame can prevent young people from purchasing them. In order to reduce the risk of becoming infected with HIV, young people are ready to encourage their partner to use condoms, talk about protection and the importance of using condoms, regularly check up with doctors and perform HIV tests. The study found that youth who perceive a high risk of being personally affected by HIV infection engage in behaviors to reduce their risk of developing the disease, while youth who do not perceive a high risk (those in a relationship) engage in behaviors that could increase the risk of becoming infected with HIV. The results suggest that the ARRM is effective in understanding factors that influence avoidance of HIV risk.
