Abstract

‘’Anabolisko steroīdu lietošanas riski’’ pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir novērtēt anabolisko steroīdu pārmērīgas lietošanas problēmu, novērtēt kāds ir anabolisko steroīdu potenciāls medicīnā, izpētīt saistītos veselības riskus. Mūsdienu sabiedrībā anabolisko steroīdu lietošana kļūst arvien populārāka gan sportistu vidū, gan starp cilvēkiem, kuri cenšas uzlabot savu fizisko veiktspēju un izskatu. Neskatoties uz to, ka anaboliskie steroīdi ir labs līdzeklis muskuļu masas un spēka palielināšanai, to lietošana bez ārsta norādījuma ir saistīta ar dažādiem veselības riskiem. Tas nozīmē, ka anabolisko steroīdu ļaunprātīga izmantošana tagad ir problēma medicīnas sabiedrībai. Šajā darbā tiek analizēti galvenie anabolisko steroīdu lietošanas riski, ieskaitot fiziskos, psiholoģiskos un sociālos aspektus. Pamatoties uz literatūras pārskatu un veikto pētījumu, ir identificēti galvenie riski: aknu bojājumi, nieru bojājumi, endokrīnie un reproduktīvie traucējumi, sirds un asinsvadu slimības, garīgas veselības pasliktinājums, atkarība, kā arī viltotu produktu un līdzestības problēmas. Šajā darbā analizēti esošie pētījumi par anabolisko steroīdu lietošanas riskiem un izveidoti secinājumi un ieteikumi, lai varētu uzlabot pētījumu kvalitāti nākotnē. Kaut arī anaboliskie steroīdi ir saistīti ar veselības riskiem, tiem ir potenciāls medicīnā dažādu slimību ārstēšanai. Šīs pētījums apskatīja anabolisko steroīdu pielietojumu dažādu slimību ārstēšanai, iekļaujot slimības, kur anaboliskie steroīdi ir standarta vai alternatīva terapija. Ir analizēti dažādi avoti un ir izdarīti secinājumi. Kopumā šīs pētījums pievērš uzmanību uz anabolisko steroīdu negatīviem efektiem. Izdarītie secinājumi var palīdzēt pievērst uzmanību pie esošo pētījumu problēmām un sniegt ieteikumus turpmākajiem pētījumiem. Anabolisko steroīdu problēmas pētīšana ir nepieciešama, lai izstrādātu efektīvu kontroles un negatīvo sekas novēršanas stratēģiju un nosargātu sabiedrību.

‘’Risks of using anabolic steroids’’ research work aim is to estimate the issue of excessive consumption of anabolic steroids, assess the potential use of anabolic steroids in medicine, and examine the associated health risks. In today’s society, the use of anabolic steroids is becoming more popular, both among athletes and individuals seeking to enhance their physical performance and appearance. Despite their potential benefits in increasing muscle mass and strength, use of anabolic steroids without medical indications is associated with various health risks. That means anabolic steroids abuse now is the problem for medical community. This work analyzes the primary risks of using anabolic steroids, including physical, psychological, and social aspects. Based on a review of the literature and conducted research, the following main risks have been identified: liver damage, renal damage, endocrine and reproductive disorders, cardiovascular diseases, mental health disorders, addiction, as well as counterfeit product and low level of patient engagement with doctors. This study evaluated existing research on the risks of using anabolic steroids and drew conclusions and suggestions that could contribute further exploration of this issue. Although anabolic steroids are associated with health risks, they have potential applications in medicine for various medical conditions. This study examines the use of anabolic steroids in various diseases, including conditions for which they are not a standard treatment or serve as an alternative treatment method. In general, this study sheds light on the adverse effects of using anabolic steroids. The conclusions presented can help draw attention to the problems of existing research and provide suggestions for improving future studies. Studying of this issue is important for the development of effective control strategies and prevention of the negative consequences of anabolic steroid use, as well as for ensuring the safety and health of society.
