Novecojošu nodarbināto veselības stāvokļa īpatnības un to saistība ar darba vides apstākļiem

Abstract

Studējošā pētnieciskais darbs veltīts ar novecošanos saistītām veselības problēmām, skatot tās darba vides apstākļu un veselību ietekmējošo faktoru kontekstā. Šo problēmu pētīšanai tika izmantota literatūras analīzes metode, attiecīgi formulējot pētījuma jautājumu un mērķus un saskaņā ar tiem veicot zinātniskās literatūras meklēšanu par veiktajiem pētījumiem, pētījumu atlasi un kvalitātes pārbaudi, veicot atlasīto publikāciju datu analīzi. Darbā aplūkotas tādas tēmas kā Latvijas sabiedrības novecošanās problēma un tās aktualitāte sabiedrības veselības un nodarbinātības politikās, novecošanās jēdziena traktējums medicīniskajā literatūrā, biežāk aktualizētās veselības problēmas novecojot, vecāka gadagājuma personu nodarbinātību veicinošie un šķēršļa faktori, kā arī vecuma diskriminācija darba vidē.

Research paper is devoted to health and ageing within the context of work environment as well as conditions and factors affecting health status during later life. The method of literature analysis was used as the main method of the study, first, formulating the research question and objectives and, in accordance with them, conducting a search in the scientific literature on the conducted studies, selecting relevant studies, performing quality control and data analysis of the selected publications. The paper examines topics such as the aging problem of the Latvian society and its relevance in public health and employment policies, the treatment of the concept of aging in medical literature, the most frequently brought up health problems in ageing, factors promoting and hindering the employment of older adults, as well as age discrimination in the work environment.
