Abstract: | Darba aktualitāte: Katru dienu mūsu ķermenim nākas pretoties gravitācijai.
dalībnieka aptaujas anketa, roku saliekšanas/iztaisnošanas tests (The Push Up Test), sānu balsts
saliekšanas/iztaisnošanas testā pieauga no 14,1 reizēm pētījumā sākumā līdz 16,5 reizēm
no 37,6 sekundēm līdz 40,3 sekundēm.
no 75,3 cm pētījuma sākuma līdz 83 cm pētījuma beigās.
Background: Every day, our bodies have to resist gravity. A sedentary and sedentary lifestyle is the root cause of back and neck pain. A sedentary lifestyle causes muscles to atrophy and weaken, and the spine and joints suffer. The aim of the antigravity programme is to reduce the load on the structures of the spine using a special decompression method. The research is focused on the justification of the effectiveness of Antigravity fitness exercises to improve physical characteristics. Objective: To identify the main changes in the physical characteristics flexibility, coordination and strength endurance as a result of Antigravity training. Hypothesis: Antigravity training will have a significant effect on body coordination, flexibility, strength endurance. Methods: A quantitative pilot study was carried out. The participants were 8 women with an average age of 30.1 years. The instruments used in the study were a participant questionnaire, The Push Up Test, The Side Plank Test, Sit and Forward Stance (feet together), Sit and Forward Stance (legs open) and Stork Stance. Results: The average maximum number of times the participants performed the arm flexion/extension test increased from 14.1 at the beginning of the study to 16.5 at the end of the study. The mean maximum holding time of the participants in the lateral support test on the right side increased from 38.9 seconds to 41 seconds and on the left side from 37.6 seconds to 40.3 seconds. The mean maximum measurement of the study participants in the flexion test in the sit posture and forward leg extension increased from 4.5 cm at the beginning of the study to 6.6 cm at the end of the study. The mean maximum measurement of the participants in the flexibility test in the sitting posture and forward reach (legs open) increased from 75.3 cm at the beginning of the study to 83 cm at the end of the study. In the coordination test, the average maximum holding time of the participants in the stork posture on the right leg increased from 4.4 seconds to 6 seconds, and on the left leg from 4 seconds to 5.6 seconds. Conclusions: A statically significant difference was demonstrated for these variables. Eight weeks of Antigravity improved the participants' flexibility, coordination and strength. |
