Rezultātā pētījuma hipotēze neapstiprinājās; tamdēļ secināms, ka iekares sistēmas standarta treniņš ar aktīvi statisko stiepšanos treniņa beigās nodrošina pieņemamu lokanības uzlabošanos. dc.description.abstract | The qualification work "Flexibility development using suspension systems" investigates whether it is possible to improve flexibility with standard suspension system training, without additional stretching exercises. The author of the thesis is a practicing group fitness trainer with 10 years of experience. In practice, it has been observed that a large number of health sports group participants cite improving flexibility as an important training goal. The hypothesis of the paper is that suspension training with active static stretching at the end of the workout is insufficient to improve flexibility; additional static stretching on the mat is needed to improve flexibility. To test the hypothesis, an experiment was conducted in which participants (n=19) were divided into two groups: a control group (n=9) and an experimental group (n=10). Both groups participated in six weeks of suspension training (two training sessions per week, 12 sessions in total). All participants' flexibility was measured at the beginning and end of the study (sit-and-reach; zipper test). During the study, the control group performed a normal suspension workout with active static stretching at the end of the workout, and the experimental group performed an additional 15 minutes of static active stretching on the mat. The study showed an improvement in flexibility in both groups, but no significant difference between the groups. As a result, the study hypothesis was not confirmed; therefore, it can be concluded that standard suspension training with active static stretching at the end of the training provides an acceptable improvement in flexibility.
