Attiecību dinamika kapsētu heterotopiskajās telpās: dzīvie, mirušie un citas būtnes.

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ‘’Attiecību dinamika kapsētu heterotopiskajās telpās: dzīvie, mirušie un citas būtnes’’ ir pētījums, kas analizē cilvēku savsatrpējās attiecības, kā arī daudzsugu un dzīvo-mirušo attiecības kapsētu telpā, cenšoties izprast mijiedarbības telpisko kontekstu un nozīmi latviešu sabiedrībā. Šis antropoloģiskais pētījums ir izstrādāts, pamatojoties uz dažādām etnogrāfiskajām metodēm- novērojumu, līdzdalīgo novērojumu, autoetnogrāfiju, skaņu etnogrāfiju, daļēji strukturētām intervijām un nestrukturētām intervijām jeb sarunām, kas norisinājās kapsētās. Lai iegūtu papildu datus tika izmantota fotofiksēšana. Datu vākšana norisinājās laika posmā no 2023.gada aprīļa sākuma līdz novembra beigām. Darbs sastāv no četrām daļām. Pirmajā daļā ir sniegts apraksts par pētījuma lauku un izmantotajām metodēm. Otrajā daļā tiek pētīta citu sugu, kas nav cilvēki, loma kapsētu vidē un daudzsugu attiecības. Trešā daļa tiek veltīta kapu apmeklētāju savstarpējām attiecībām. Ceturtajā daļā tiek veikta dzīvo un mirušo attiecību analīze. Kapsētas kļūst par dinamisku sociālu telpu, kurā izpaužas dažādas attiecības un kur tiek praktizētas simboliskas un emocionālas izpausmes. Darba tēzē tiek apgalvots, ka kapsētas kā heterotopiskas telpas invertē telpu nozīmi attiecībā pret ikdienišķo, piešķirot kapsētām ne tikai fizisku, bet arī garīgu dimensiju, un, mijiedarbojoties dzīvajiem, mirušajiem un citām būtnēm, rada pretrunīgus attiecību modeļus starp: 1) cilvēkiem un citām sugām, piešķirot dzīvām būtnēm pārdabiskas īpašības un mainot to lomu attiecībā pret telpu. 2) Kapsētu apmeklētājiem- vienlaikus uzturot intensīvas emocionālas tuvības saites un risinot konfliktus, apgriežot kapsētas sakrālo nozīmi, pretstatot sabiedrības priekšstatus par kapsētu kā «miera ostu», tai kļūstot par ‘’kara lauku’’. 3) dzīvajiem un mirušajiem- turpinot mijiedarbību neskatoties uz fizisko cilvēka neesamību, atklājot komunikāciju un reciprocitāti, kas šķērso nāves slieksni.

The master's thesis "Dynamics of relationships in the heterotopic spaces of cemeteries: the living, the dead and other beings" is a study that analyzes the relationships between people, as well as multispecies and living-dead relationships in the space of cemeteries, trying to understand the spatial context and meaning of interaction in Latvian society. This anthropological work is based on ethnographic methods - observation, participant observation, autoethnography, sound ethnography, semi-structured interviews and unstructured interviews or conversations that took place in cemeteries. Photo-fixation was used to obtain additional data. Data collection took place in the period from the beginning of April to the end of November 2023. The work consists of four parts. The first part provides a description of the research field and the methods used. The second part explores the role of non-human species in cemetery environments and multispecies relationships. The third part is devoted to the mutual relations of cemetery visitors. The fourth part analyzes the relationship between the living and the dead. Cemeteries become a dynamic social space where various relationships are expressed and where symbolic and emotional expressions are practiced. The thesis argues that cemeteries as heterotopic spaces invert the meaning of spaces in relation to the mundane, giving cemeteries not only a physical but also a spiritual dimension, and through the interaction of the living, the dead and other creatures, generates conflicting patterns of relationships among: 1) humans and other species, giving living creatures supernatural powers and changing their role in relation to space; 2) for the visitors to cemeteries - maintaining intense emotional ties and resolving conflicts, reversing the sacred meaning of the cemetery, contradicting public perceptions of the cemetery as a " harbor of peace", becoming a "war field"; 3) for the living and the dead - continuing the interaction despite the physical absence of a human, revealing communication and reciprocity by crossing the boundaries of the living and the dead.
