Arrhythmias in Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension

Abstract

Šis literatūras apskats ar nosaukumu "Aritmijas pacientiem ar plaušu hipertensiju" ir paredzēts jaunāku pētījumu īstenošanai, lai palielinātu kvalitatīvus pierādījumus un informētību par aritmijām un to patieso klīnisko nozīmi pacientiem ar plaušu hipertensiju.

Šajā rakstā ir mēģināts noteikt aritmiju nozīmi plaušu hipertensijā, uzrādot pēdējās konstatētās aritmiju izplatības, uzsverot galvenās klīniskās problēmas, ar kurām saskaras ārsti un pacienti, kad attīstās aritmija. Tā ir arī iepazīstinājusi ar jaunākajiem rezultātiem par dažādām īstermiņa un ilgstošas ​​​​ārstēšanas metodēm, lai noteiktu jutīgumu pret ārstēšanu.

This literature review titled, 'Arrhythmias in Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension', is intended to implement newer studies in order raise qualitative evidence and awareness about arrhythmias and their true clinical significance in patients with pulmonary hypertension.

This article has sought to determine the significance of arrhythmias in pulmonary hypertension by presenting the most recently established prevalences of arrhythmias, highlighting the main clinical challenges that clinicians and patients face when arrhythmias develop. It has also presented recent results of various short-time, and long-time treatment methods to determine sensitivity to treatment.

Despite significant progress in the understanding and general knowledge of arrhythmias in PH-disease, there still is suboptimal understanding of various subfields surrounding this topic which prevents confident treatment consistency, good patient quality of life and long-term outcomes. As the patients with pulmonary hypertension suffer a chronic, progressive vascular degeneration, they become especially vulnerable physical and physiological stress. However, taking into account the psychological impact of these chronic disease opens entirely new form of treatment that should be explored.

The article has revealed that there is still uncertainties surrounding the topic of arrhythmias in pulmonary hypertension. Due to inconsistency in methods used, small patient groups, comorbidities and such, the statistics seem inaccurate or at the very least very vaguely defined. Clinical challenges may be attributed by various underlying conditions, allergies, and other causes may contribute to worsening or development of acute events.
