Tomēr to pamatā esošie mehānismi joprojām nav zināmi. Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is characterised by a wide range of symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and self-harm. However, the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. This study aims to thoroughly examine systematic reviews that investigate the relationship between parenting and the development of BPD. This review aims to shed light on the role of parenting in the emergence of the disorder. Most studies concluded that poor parenting is a risk factor for developing borderline personality disorder. According to research, there are numerous risk factors for the development of BPD. One of the most important etiological factors for the development of BPD has been linked to emotional dysregulation and having an invalidating environment. Psychoeducation, community sharing of personal experiences, and knowledge of how to engage well are the three most important components in preventing poor parenting. Further research needs to be conducted on the factors associated with and the underlying mechanisms that predict the onset of borderline personality disorder. |
