Zobu ārstēšanas izraisītu psiholoģisku traumu attīstība jauniem pacientiem

Abstract

Šī darba mērķis bija izpētīt bērnu un pusaudžu pacientu zobu veselības problēmu un zobu ārstēšanas izraisīto psiholoģisko traumu cēloņus un attīstību, kā arī to sekas un ietekmi uz turpmākajiem ārstēšanas rezultātiem un dzīves kvalitāti. Lai atrastu rakstus šim pārskatam, tika izmantoti PubMed un Google Scholar resursi. Pārskatot atlasītos rakstus, atklājās, ka trauksme un fobijas, kas saistītas ar zobu ārstēšanu bērniem un pusaudžiem, ir daudzfaktorālas psihopatoloģijas, kuras ietekmē vairāki dažādi faktori un dažādās pakāpēs katram indivīdam. Šie faktori ietver pacienta vispārējo stāvokli, vecumu, dzimumu, attiecības ar vecākiem, zobārsta kompetenci, iepriekšējo pieredzi un atmiņas. Ir vairāki modeļi, kas izstrādāti, lai to izskaidrotu, daži no tiem tika izskatīti šajā pārskatā. Tika secināts, ka katram no šiem modeļiem ir savas priekšrocības un trūkumi, taču neviens no tiem neaptver visus ar zobārstniecību saistīto bērnu traumu un fobiju aspektus. The goal of this paper was to examine the causes and development of psychological trauma due to dental health issues and dental treatments in child and adolescent patients and their consequences and effect on future treatment outcomes and quality of life. Resources used to find articles for this review were PubMed and Google Scholar. Reviewing the selected articles revealed that anxiety and phobias related to dental treatment in children and adolescents are multifactorial psychopathologies that are influenced by several different factors and to varying degrees for each individual. These factors include general disposition of the patient, age, gender, relationship with parents, competency of the dentist, previous experiences and memories. There are several models designed to explain this, some of which were examined in this review. It was concluded that each of these models has its advantages and disadvantages but that none of them cover all aspect of child trauma and phobias related to dentistry. Dentists should have a general understanding of the mechanisms behind trauma and phobia etiology, especially when treating children, but more research into the subject is needed.
