Darba stresa rādītāji pirms un pēc supervīzijas pirmsskolas pedagogiem

Abstract

Pirmsskolas pedagogi ir viena no tām profesijām, kas ikdienā tiek pakļauti visdažādākajiem stresoriem darba vietā. Valstī ir ļoti liels pedagogu deficīts, kam viens no iemesliem ir arī profesionāla atbalsta trūkums. Supervīzija izglītības vidē Latvijā tiek ieviesta visai nesen un līdz šim nav pētījumu par tās ietekmi tieši uz pirmsskolas pedagogu darba stresu. Izvirzīts pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt pirmsskolas pedagogu darba stresa rādītājus un noskaidrot supervīzijas, kā profesionāla atbalsta mehānisma, ietekmi uz pirmsskolas pedagoga darba stresu, vienlaikus akcentējot supervīzijas nepieciešamību un veicinot tās pieprasījumu pirmsskolas pedagogu darba vidē Latvijā. Mērķa sasniegšanai izvirzīti pieci uzdevumi, lai izpētītu pirmsskolas pedagogu darba stresa līmeni un supervīzijas ietekmi uz tiem, un veicinātu supervīzijas plašāku ieviešanu šajā darba vidē; tiem atbilstoši formulēti pētījuma jautājumi. Pētījums ir kvantitatīva dizaina kvazieksperiments divos posmos. Pētījuma pirmajā posmā piedalījās pirmsskolas pedagogi (n=171), kuriem tika veikts darba stresa mērījums izmantojot P. Spektora izstrādāto instrumentu “Darba Stresoru Skalas”, kas Latvijā adaptētas 2013. gadā. Pētījuma otrajā posmā izlasi veido pirmsskolas pedagogi (n=12), kas sadalīti vienādās kontroles un eksperimentālās grupās. Eksperimentālajai grupai novadītas 5 grupas supervīzijas sesijas, pēc kurām abām grupām veikts atkārtots darba stresa mērījums, kā arī lūgts aizpildīt viedokļu aptauju. Iegūtie dati analizēti izmantojot aprakstošās statistikas un slēdzienstatistikas metodes. Pētījuma rezultātā izdarīti secinājumi par pirmsskolas pedagogu darba stresu un supervīzijas ietekmi uz to. Iegūtie rezultāti ir praktiski izmantojami veicinot supervīzijas ieviešanu pirmsskolas pedagogu darba vidē.

Preschool educators are one of those professions that are exposed to a lot of workplace stressors on a daily basis. There is a significant shortage of educators in the country, and one of the reasons for this is the lack of professional support. Supervision in the education field has been introduced in Latvia only recently, and so far, there have been no studies on its impact specifically on the job stress of preschool educators. The aim of the study is to investigate the indicators of job stress among preschool educators and to determine the impact of supervision, as a professional support mechanism, on the job stress of preschool teachers. At the same time, the study emphasizes the need for supervision and promotes its demand in the preschool education environment in Latvia. Five tasks have been set to achieve the goal of studying the level of job stress among preschool educators, the impact of supervision on them, and to promote its wider implementation in this work environment, and the research questions have been formulated accordingly. The study is a quantitative design quasi-experiment in two stages. In the first stage of the study, preschool educators (n=171) participated, and their job stress was measured using the "Job Stressor Scales" instrument developed by P. Spector and adapted in Latvia in 2013. In the second stage of the study, the sample consisted of 12 preschool educators, who were divided into equal control and experimental groups. The experimental group (n=6) underwent five group supervision sessions, after which both groups underwent a repeated measurement of job stress, as well as an additional opinion survey. The obtained data was analyzed using descriptive and conclusive statistical methods. The study resulted in conclusions about the job stress of preschool educators and the impact of supervision on them. The results obtained are practically applicable in promoting the implementation of supervision in the work environment of preschool educators.
