Stomas pacientu aprūpes izaicinājumi un risinājumi Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma – “Stomas pacientu aprūpes izaicinājumi un risinājumi Latvijā”. Darba tēma ir aktuāla, jo stomas aprūpe ir sarežģīts un izaicinošs process ar ko pacientiem ir jātiek galā katru dienu, iespējams pat līdz mūža galam. Nepietiekama stomas aprūpe nereti noved pie komplikācijām, kas nozīmē augstākas izmaksas veselības aprūpei. Stomas aprūpes situācija Latvijā līdz šim nav tikusi pētīta. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot galvenos izaicinājumus stomas pacientu aprūpē Latvijā. Lai sasniegtu vēlamo rezultātu, darbā tiek veikta zinātniskās literatūras apkopošana, analizēti Latvijas normatīvie akti un reglamentējošie dokumenti par stomas aprūpi, analizēti sekundārie dati no Nacionālā veselības dienesta datu bāzes, iegūti un analizēti ekspertu viedokļi par stomas pacientu aprūpi, tās izaicinājumiem un risinājumiem, salīdzināts Latvijā noteikto stomas preču kompensējamais apjoms ar citu valstu apjomu, veikta SVID analīze stomas aprūpes situācijai Latvijā un piedāvāti risinājumi identificētajiem izaicinājumiem stomas aprūpē Latvijā. Analizējot stomas aprūpi Latvijā veidojošos elementus, autore secināja, ka katrā no veidojošajiem elementiem nākas sastapties ar kādiem izaicinājumiem. No stomas aprūpes organizācijas puses tie ir nepietiekoša pacienta sagatavošana pirms izrakstīšanās no stacionāra, nepietiekoša iesaiste un ģimenes ārstu zināšanas par stomu, tās aprūpi un kompensāciju, nepietiekošs stomas aprūpes kabinetu daudzums reģionos. No stomas aprūpes produktu puses tas ir salīdzinoši zemais stomas aprūpes preču kompensācijas apjoms uz trīs mēnešiem, ierobežotās preču izvēles iespējas pacientiem un stomas aprūpes preču piegādes laiks aptiekā. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti palīdz izprast izaicinājumus, ar ko jāsastopas stomas pacientiem Latvijā, lai varētu pārskatīt un uzlabot pašreizējo stomas aprūpes pakalpojumu organizāciju stomas aprūpes produktu kompensāciju un pieejamību, tādejādi uzlabojot stomas pacientu labklājību un vispārējo dzīves kvalitāti. The topic of the master's thesis is "Stoma patient care challenges and solutions in Latvia". The topic of the work is relevant because stoma care is a complex and challenging process that patients have to deal with every day, possibly even for the rest of their lives. Inadequate stoma care often leads to complications, which means higher healthcare costs. The overview situation of stoma care in Latvia has not been studied so far. The aim of the master's thesis is to find out the main challenge in the care of stoma patients in Latvia. In order to achieve the desired result, the work compiles the scientific literature, analyzes Latvian laws and regulatory documents on stoma care, analyzes secondary data from the database of the National Health Service, obtains and analyzes expert opinions on the care of stoma patients, its challenges and solutions, compares the compensable volume of determined stoma products in Latvia with the volume of other countries, a SWOT analysis of the situation of stoma care in Latvia and proposes solutions to the identified challenges in stoma care in Latvia. Analyzing the elements that make up stoma care in Latvia, the author concluded that each of the elements has to face some challenges. From the side of the stoma care organization, these are insufficient preparation of the patient before discharge from the hospital, insufficient involvement and knowledge of family doctors about the stoma, its care and compensation, insufficient stoma care offices in many regions. On the side of stoma care products, it is the sought amount of compensation for stoma care products for three months, limited product choices and the delivery time of stoma care products at the pharmacy. The results obtained in the study help to understand the challenges faced by stoma patients in Latvia, in order to review and improve the compensation and availability of the latest stoma care services products, thus improving the well-being and general quality of life of stoma patients.
