Novecojošu nodarbināto veselības stāvokļa īpatnības un to saistība ar darba vides faktoriem

Abstract

Troksnis kā arodfaktors 21. gadsimtā joprojām ir klātesošs. Tā ietekmē lielai daļai noteiktās nozarēs strādājošo attīstās sensorineirāls dzirdes zudums. Tomēr trokšņa iedarbībai pastāv arī citas, mazāk pētītas sekas. Šī literatūras apskata mērķis ir izpētīt literatūrā aprakstīto trokšņa iedarbību uz strādājošā veselību, veicot ieskatu bojājumu epidemioloģijā, patoģenēzē, prevencijā un terapijas iespējās, kā arī izpētes stadijā esošās potenciālās terapijas iespējās. Darba rakstīšanas gaitā tika izmantotas brīvpieejas datubāzes Pubmed un Google Scholar, kā arī Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes literatūras datubāzes Cochrane Library un Clinical Key, meklēšanas kritērijos tika atlasīti informācijas avoti, kuri nebija vecāki par 2013.gadu kā arī primāras publikācijas, izmantojot atslēgvārdus occupational medicine, occupational hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, noise-induced hearing loss, NIHL, tinnitus, hidden hearing loss, cochlear synaptopathy, noise effects on health u.c. Literatūras izpētes rezultātā tika aprakstīti vairāki iespējamie trokšņa darba vietā ietekmes mehānismi un iznākumi, līdztekus sensorineirālam dzirdes zudumam tika aprakstīts slēptais dzirdes zudums, tinnīts un hyperacusis. Tāpat padziļināti tika izpētīts un aprakstīts troksnis kā fizioloģisks un psiholoģisks stresors, kurš, iespējams, ir nozīmīgs faktors tādu multifaktoriālu saslimšanu kā kardiovaskulārās un psihopatoloģiskās saslimšanas, attīstībā. Tika secināts, ka joprojām trūkst paplašinātas izpratnes, kā troksnis darba vidē ietekmē kopējo organisma stāvokli.

Noise as an occupational hazard is still a dangerous issue in the 21st century workplace. As a result, a large number of workers in certain industries develop sensorineural hearing loss. However, there are other, less studied effects of noise exposure. The purpose of this literature review is to investigate both the effects of noise on the health of the worker described in the text, by looking into the epidemiology, pathogenesis, and prevention as well as treatment options of the damage. In the course of writing the paper, the open access databases Pubmed and Google Scholar were used, as well as the literature databases of Riga Stradins University, Cochrane Library and Clinical Key. In the search criteria, sources of information that were no older than 2013 were selected, as well as primary publications, using the keywords occupational medicine, occupational hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, noise-induced hearing loss, NIHL, tinnitus, hidden hearing loss, cochlear synaptopathy, noise effects on health, etc. As a result of the literature review, several possible mechanisms and outcomes of the impact of noise in the workplace were described, in addition to sensorineural hearing loss, hidden hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis were described. Also, noise as a physiological and psychological stressor, which is probably an important factor in the development of multifactorial diseases such as cardiovascular and psychopathological diseases, was studied and described in depth. It was concluded that there is still a lack of an expanded understanding of how noise in the work environment affects the overall state of the body.
