Abstract

Apakšējo ekstremitāšu ķirurģija militāro operāciju laikā nodrošina pacienta stāvokļa stabilizāciju un prognozes uzlabošanos šautas brūces vai sprādziena radītas traumas gadījumā. Ņemot vērā esošos notikumus Ukrainā, ir vērts apskatīt un izglītoties saistībā ar kara medicīnu un tās ārstēšanas pieeju.Literatūras apskata mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā tiek sniegta ķirurģiskā palīdzība šāvienu vai sprādzienu ievainotiem karavīriem apakšējās ekstremitātēs aktīvas karadarbības zonās un kādas ir visbiežāk izraisītās traumas apakšējās ekstremitātēs, traumu mehānismu procentuālais sadalījums.. Pētījums ir retrospektīvs, aprakstošs tematisks literatūras apraksts. Pētījuma laikā pētījuma autors uzzina, ka visbiežāk traumu mehānisms apakšējo ekstremitāšu ievainojumiem kauju laukā ir sprādzienu izraisīti ievainojumi, kuri lielākoties izpaužas kā vaļējas brūces un lūzumi. Tas liek domāt, ka lielākajai daļai karavīru pēc ievainojuma apakšējās ekstremitātēs būs kompleksas, dzīvībai bīstamas brūces, destruktīvās mehānisma iedarbības dēļ.

Surgery of the lower extremities during battle operations, provides the stabilisation of the patient and an improvement in the prognosis in the case of a bullet wound or blast wound caused trauma. By also taking account the events that are happening in Ukraine it is deemed worthwhile to delve into this topic and get educated in combat medicine and the approach of treatment in it. The main objective of this literature review is to find out, how is surgical aid provided in a battle zone in the case of a bullet or blast wound to the lower extremities and what are the most often injuries caused by these trauma mechanisms during battle and which mechanism mechanism is responsible for most of these injuries. The research is a retrospective descriptive literature review. During the review the author of it finds out that the most common trauma mechanism is blast injuries and they mostl cause open wounds and fractures. Thus an assumption can be made that most likely the soldiers, that are injured in the lower extremities will have life endangering, complicated injuries because of the destructive nature of the trauma mechanism.
