Abstract: | Šajā kontekstā šī pētnieciskā darba mērķis ir sniegt ieskatu jonizējošā starojuma
The purpose of this research work is to provide an insight into the effects of ionizing radiation on health paying particular attention to exposed individuals or populations in nuclear disasters. It aims to theorise the effects of this exposure on next generations by analysing information from studies dealing with the subject of germline mutation rates and the extent of genetic consequences of high dose radiation exposure based on the reports of Chernobyl, Fukushima, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Semipalatinsk. In this context, another task of this work is to theorise if and to what extent, the wildlife population in nuclear exclusion zones are affected by the remaining levels of ionizing radiation. |
