Abstract: | Ievads.
diagnozi, atšķirtu to no līdzīgiem cieto audu bojājumiem un nodrošināt veiksmīgu ārstēšanas
metodes izveli.
Mērķis. Izveidot literatūras apskatu, apkopojot pieejamo informāciju par ķīļveida
defekta diferencēšanu no citiem gan nekarioziem, gan karioziem cervikālājiem bojājumiem,
apkopot informāciju par ārstēšanas metodēm.
Darba uzdevumi:
1) izprast etioloģiskos un riska faktorus, kas veicina ķīļveida defektu attīstību;
2) aplūkot līdzīgus bojājumus, tādus kā abrāzija, erozija, sakņu kariess un mācēt to
diferencēt savā starpā;
3) izpētīt profilakses iespējas, kas varētu novērst bojājuma izplatību;
4) izpētīt ārstēšanas metožu pieejas;
Materiāli un metodes. Pētnieciskā darba literatūras meklējumi tika veikti, izmantojot
Rīgas Stradiņa universitātei pieejamās tiešsaistes datubāzes: PubMed, ClinicalKey,
ScienceDirect, Wiley online libraryu.c. Izmantotie atslēgvārdi: “wedge-shaped defects”,
“management”, “noncarious cervical lesions”, “tooth restoration”, “tooth wear”, “differentiate”,
Introduction. A wedge-shaped defect is a hard dental tissue NCCL, which is characterized by a specific etiology, pathogenesis, risk factors and clinical picture. It is mainly observed on the buccal surface of the tooth and usually has well-defined internal and external angles and is often formed in the cervical area of the tooth, due to excessive occlusal stress or parafunctional habits, also the development of the defect is influenced by the patient's aggressive brushing technique. This paper will describe the differential diagnosis of a wedge-shaped defect and several treatment options. A careful history and proper examination of clinical information are essential to achieve a correct diagnosis, distinguish it from similar hard tissue lesions and ensure a successful choice of treatment method. Aim. To conduct a literature review, gathering available information on differentiating a wedge-shaped defect from other cervical lesions, to collect information on treatment methods. Tasks: 1) to understand the etiological and risk factors that contribute to the development of wedge-shaped defects; 2) to look at similar defects, such as abrasion, erosion, root caries and learn to differentiate them from each other; 3) to explore prevention options that could arrest the spread of wedge-shaped defects development; 4) to explore treatment modality approaches. Materials and methods. Literature searches for the paper were conducted using the online databases available to Riga Stradins University: PubMed, ClinicalKey, ScienceDirect, Wiley online library, etc.. Keywords: “wedge-shaped defects”, “management”, “noncarious cervical lesions”, “tooth restoration”, “tooth wear”, “differentiate”, “V-shaped defect”, “NCCL” in different combinations. For the development of the paper, full-text scientific articles with the title corresponding to the topic, published in the period from 1985 to 2022, were included. The work included information from 97 information sources, including: 5 textbooks and 92 scientific articles. |
