Ortodontisko ierīču ietekme uz zobu emalju

Abstract

Darba tēma ir Ortodontisko aparatūru ietekme uz zobu emalju. Darba mērķis bija izpētīt vai un kā ortodontisko aparatūru lietošana ietekmē zobu emalju un, vai ir likumsakarība ar zobu higiēnista apmeklēšanas biežumu. Autore, Linda Šidlauska, izskatīja tādus jautājumus kā - vai ortodontiskās aparatūras bojā zobu emalju? Vai regulāra mutes veselības higiēna un zobu higiēnista apmeklēšana palīdz saglabāt zobu emalju? Darba rakstīšanas laikā, autore izpētīja zinātnisko literatūru par ortodontiskām aparatūrām, to atšķirības, lietošanu, to ietekmi uz zobu emalju. Tika apskatītas tādas datu bāzes kā EBSCO Host (MEDLINE complete), PubMed, ProQuest un Science Direct. Atsevišķas publikācijas tika atrastas manuāli, lasot dažādas publikācijas. Meklēšanas veikšanai dažādās kombinācijās tika izmantoti šādi zobārstniecības vārdi vai frāzes: demineralizācija; fiksētās ortodontiskās aparatūras; balto plankumu veidošanās; ortodontiskā ārstēšana; zobu higiēna; mutes veselība. Darba autore pētījumā izmantoja kvantitatīvās un kvalitatīvās metodes. Darba izstrādes laikā autore veica anonīmu aptauju, pacientiem (vai to bērniem), kas lietojuši ortodontiskās aparatūras, vai viņi novērojuši zobu emaljas bojājumus, vai apmeklējuši zobu higiēnistu, kā tika risināta problēma, ja tāda radās. Aptaujā piedalījās 72 respondenti. Darba hipotēze: Ortodontisko aparatūru lietošana bojā zobu emalju.

The topic of the work – Damage to tooth enamel during the use of orthodontic appliances. The aim of the work was whether and how the use of orthodontic devices affects tooth enamel and whether there is a correlation with the frequency of visiting a dental hygienist. The author examined such questions as - do orthodontic devices damage tooth enamel? Does regular oral hygiene and visiting a dental hygienist help to save tooth enamel? During the writing of the paper, the author studied the scientific literature on orthodontic devices, their differences, use, and impact on tooth enamel. Databases such as EBSCO Host (MEDLINE complete), PubMed, ProQuest and Science Direct were consulted. Individual publications were found in books by reading different publications. The following words or phrases were used for the search in various combinations of teeth: demineralization; fixed orthodontic appliances; formation of white spots; orthodontic treatment; dental hygiene; oral health. During the development of the work, the author conducted an anonymous survey of patients (also children) who have used orthodontic devices, whether they observed damage to the tooth enamel, did they visit a dental hygienist, how the problem was solved, if any. In the survey participated 72 respondents. The author used quantitative and qualitative methods in the research. The proposed hypothesis: The use of orthodontic appliances damages tooth enamel.
