Periimplantīta profilakse zobu higienista praksē.

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darba tēma ir periimplantīta profilakse zobu higiēnista praksē. Darba aktualitāte ir pamatojama ar aizvien pieaugošo zobu implantēšanas iespējām. Pateicoties tam, ka medicīna ir ļoti attīstījusies un turpina attīstīties, periimplantīts tiek diagnosticēts aizvien biežāk, kas liecina par profilakses trūkumu. Ar periimplantītu var slimot jebkurš pacients ar zobu implantu un nereti cilvēki nepievērš pienācīgu uzmanību sākotnējiem simptomiem. Tāpēc zobu higiēnisti var kļūt par pirmajiem, kas diagnosticē periimplanta audu slimības, veicot pienācīgu klīnisko izmeklēšanu. Pētījumā izvirzītais mērķis ir noskaidrot Latvijas zobu higiēnistu zināšanas par implantu aprūpi. Ar pieejamās zinātniskās literatūras un aptaujas palīdzību autore aplūko zobu higiēnistu zināšanas par periimplantīta profilaksi, aptaujājot 51 Latvijā praktizējošu zobu higiēnistu. Pētījuma aptaujas rezultāti liek secināt, ka zināšanas par periimplanta audu slimībām, to profilaksi un ārstēšanu ir nepilnīgas.

The topic of the qualification work is the prevention of peri-implantitis in dental hygienist practice. The relevance of the work is justified by the increasing possibilities of dental implantation. Due to the fact that medicine is very well developed and continues to develop, peri-implantitis is being diagnosed more and more frequently, which indicates a lack of prevention. Any patient with a dental implant can be diagnosed with peri-implantitis and often people do not pay due attention to the initial symptoms. Therefore, dental hygienists can be the first to diagnose diseases of the peri-implant tissues through a proper clinical examination. The aim of this study is to investigate the knowledge of Latvian dental hygienists about the care of implants. With the help of available scientific literature and a questionnaire survey, the author examines the knowledge of dental hygienists about the prevention of peri-implantitis by surveying 51 dental hygienists practicing in Latvia. The results of the survey suggest that knowledge of peri-implant tissue diseases, their prevention and treatment is incomplete.
