Tēvu zināšanas un iesaiste bērnu mutes veselības aprūpē

Abstract

Anotācija Kvalifikācijas darba tēma ir “Tēvu zināšanas un iesaiste bērnu mutes veselības aprūpē”. Vecāki rūpējas par bērnu no tā piedzimšanas brīža līdz pieaugušam vecumam, ierastāk ir uzskatīt ka galvenais bērna aprūpētājs ir māte, bet pēdējā laikā tiek pievērsta uzmanība arī tēvu iesaistē bērnu audzināšanā un dzīvē. Karies ir izplatīta neinfekcioza salimšana un aktuāli noskaidrot kā, ar vecāku iesaisti, iespējams ierobežot tā attīstību bērniem un kādas ir tēvu zināšanas par bērnu mutes veselību un iesaiste tajā. Autore veica zinātnisko literatūru analīzi par vecāku nozīmi bērna attīstībā, tēva loma bērna dzīvē, atbalsta pasākumiem tēvu iesaistes veicināšanā Latvijā un pasaulē, mutes veselības nozīmīgumu un bērna attīstības stadijām. Pētnieciskajā daļā autore veica aptauju , kurā piedalījās 70 respondenti – bērnu tēvi, noskaidrojot tēvu iesaisti bērnu veselības aprūpē, zināšanām par mutes veselību un pašu tēvu mutes veselības aprūpi. Galvenie secinājumi darbā: 1. Vairāk nekā puse respondentu ir veduši bērnus pie ārsta un darījuši to vairākkārt. 2. Galvenais kavēklis pilnīgākai tēva iesaistei ir aizņemtība ar darba pienākumiem. 3. Katru dienu uzraudzīta bērnu zobu tīrīšana notiek tikai aptuveni trešdaļā respondentu ģimeņu. 4. Kā galvenie zobu bojājumus izraisošie faktori, pēc tēvu domām, ir cukurs, saldumi, saldināti dzērieni un pastāvīgajiem zobiem nepietiekams tīrīšanas biežums. Darba hipotēze apstiprinājās daļēji, jo tēvu zināšanas par bērnu mutes veselības aprūpi ir daļējas, bet iesaiste ir vērtējama kā liela. Abstract The topic of the qualification work is “Fathers' knowledge and involvement in children's oral health care”. Parents take care of the child from birth to adulthood, it is more common to believe that the mother is the main caregiver of the child, but lately attention has also been paid to the involvement of fathers in the upbringing and life of children. Caries is a common non-infectious disease, and it is relevant to find out how it is possible to limit its development in children with the involvement of parents, and what is fathers' knowledge about children's oral health and their involvement in maintaining it. The author conducted an analysis of the scientific literature on the importance of parents in the child's development, the father's role in the child's life, support measures for the promotion of fathers' involvement in Latvia and the world, the importance of oral health and the stages of child development. In the research part, the author conducted a survey with 70 respondents fathers, in which she found out fathers' involvement in children's health care, knowledge about oral health and fathers' own oral health care. The main conclusions of the work: 1. More than half of the respondents have taken their children to the doctor and have done so several times. 2. The main obstacle to a more complete father's involvement is busyness with work duties. 3. In a third of the respondent families, supervised brushing of children's teeth takes place every day 4. According to fathers, the main factors causing damage to teeth are sugar, sweets, sweetened drinks, and for permanent teeth also cleaning frequency. The working hypothesis was partially confirmed, because the fathers' knowledge of children's oral health care is partial, but their involvement can be assessed as high.
