Motivējošas intervijas pielietojums zobu higiēnistu profesionālajā darbā

Abstract

Mūsdienās, aizvien vairāk tiek pievērsta uzmanība pacienta psiholoģiskajam stāvoklim, motivēšanai un pacienta virzīšanai uz pārmaiņām, tāpēc motivējošā intervija ir aktuāls pētījuma temats. Zobārstniecībā strādājošajiem speciālistiem jābūt pietiekamām zināšanām par motivējošo interviju, lai varētu pozitīvi ietekmēt pacientus un veiksmīgi pielietot zināšanas par motivējošo interviju darbā ar pacientiem. Šī darba mērķis bija apskatīt dažādus motivējošās intervijas pielietojumus zobu higiēnistu profesionālajā darbā, to veidus un rezultātus, izpētīt zobu higiēnistu pieredzi pacientu motivēšanā izmantojot motivējošo interviju. Teorētiskajā daļā tika precizēti dažādi motivējošās intervijas pielietojuma veidi, šķēršļi motivējošās intervijas pielietošanai profesionālajā darbā, motivējošās intervijas integrēšana zobu higiēnistu studiju programmā, kā arī tika izpētīta zobārstniecības profesionāļu pieredze pacientu motivēšanā pielietojot motivējošo interviju. Darba autore centās noskaidrot, kādi ir pētījumu rezultāti un zobu higiēnistu zināšanas par motivējošo interviju. Darba procesā tika veikta aptauja par zobu higiēnistu zināšanām par motivējošo interviju. Aptaujas rezultāti liecināja, ka zobu higiēnistu zināšanas par motivējošo interviju ir nepietiekamas. Pētījuma rezultāti atspoguļoja zobu higiēnistu zināšanas par motivējošo interviju, zināšanu iegūšanu un papildināšanu, šķēršļiem ar kuriem nākas saskarties pielietojot motivējošo interviju, motivējošās intervijas pielietošana ikdienas darbā un vai zobu higiēnisti ir ieinteresēti zināšanu papildināšanā. Darba nobeigumā pēc iegūtajiem datiem izdarīti secinājumi un būtiskākais no tiem ir tas, ka zobu higiēnistiem trūkst vai nav zināšanas par motivējošo interviju, bet zobu higiēnisti ir ieinteresēti iegūt un papildināt savas zināšanas. Pēc autores domām, motivējošai intervijai profesionālajā darbā ir ļoti nozīmīga loma. Lai profesionāļiem būtu iespēja izmantot motivējošo interviju ikdienas darbā, ir vairāk kā svarīgi, izglītot zobu higiēnistus, ieviest motivējošo interviju zobu higiēnistu apmācības programmā, kā arī pēcdiploma apmācībā.

Nowadays, more and more attention is paid to the patient's psychological state, motivation and directing the patient to change, so the motivational interview is a topical study topic. Dental professionals should have sufficient knowledge of the motivational interview to be able to positively influence patients and successfully apply the knowledge of the motivational interview working with patients. The aim of this study was to look at the various uses of motivational interview in the professional work of dental hygienists, motivational interviewing types, and results, to study the experience of dental hygienists in motivating patients using a motivational interview. The theoretical part of the study clarified the various types of motivational interview use, the barriers to the use of the motivational interview in professional work, the integration of the motivational interview into the dental hygienist curriculum, as well as the experience of dental professionals in motivating patients using the motivational interview. The author of the study tried to find out what are the results of researches and dental hygienists knowledge about the motivational interview. In the process of study, a survey was made to find out dental hygienists knowledge about motivational interview. Results of the survey showed that dental hygienists knowledge about motivational interview were not sufficient. Results of the study showed dental hygienists knowledge about motivational interview, acquisition and enhancement of knowledge, barriers to the implementation of motivational interview, the use of motivational interview in everyday work, and whether dental hygienists are interested in improving knowledge about motivational interview. At the end of the study based on the results, conclusions have been drawn and the most important of them is that dental hygienists have little or do not have knowledge about motivational interview, but the positive thing is that dental hygienists are interested in acquiring and enhancing their knowledge. According to the author, a motivating interview in professional work plays a very important role. For professionals to have the opportunity use motivational interview in daily work, it is more than important to educate dental hygienists, to add a motivational interview into the training program for dental hygienists, as well as in postgraduate training.
