dc.description.abstract | Pētnieciskā darba “Gastrointestinālo blakusparādību sastopamība pieaugušajiem, kuri lieto antidepresantus” mērķis ir salīdzināt terapijā izmantoto antidepresantu izraisītās gastrointestinālās blakusparādības – to nevēlamās izpausmes un to ārstēšanas iespējas. | lv-LV |
dc.description.abstract | The scientific research “Incidence of gastrointestinal side effects in adults who use antidepressants” is based on the aim of comparing the manifestation of gastrointestinal side effects that appear in use of the first-line antidepressants as well as their treatment options. In the work process, various groups of antidepressants and their most common gastrointestinal side-effects were studied, as well as the most commonly used over-the-counter medications that were used to treat these side-effects most effectively. It was found that it is difficult to evaluate which of the groups has the most incidence of side effects, however, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors had the largest variety of side effects, making these medications more difficult to tolerate. | en-UK |
