Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Profesionālā sportista cilvēktiesību ierobežojumu tiesiskais regulējums un tā problemātika”. Analizējot Sporta arbitrāžas tiesas nolēmumus, tiek secināts, ka profesionāli sportisti regulāri vēršas šķīrējtiesā, saistībā ar cilvēktiesību pārkāpumiem. Profesionālo sportistu skaits mūsdienās ir pietiekami augsts, lai pievērstu uzmanību tam, ka profesionālajā sportā ir vairāki cilvēktiesību ierobežojumi un pārkāpumi. Ņemot vērā, ka cilvēktiesības nav absolūtas un ir ierobežojamas, autore izvērtēs sportista cilvēktiesību ierobežojumu apmēru un nepieciešamību. Autore darbā mēģina rast risinājumus, lai cilvēktiesību ierobežojumi samazinātos un vai to var panākt ar nacionālā līmeņa normatīvo aktu grozījumiem un papildinājumiem. Darba kopējais lappušu skaits ir 83 lappuses.

The subject of the master's work is “The Restrictions of the Human Rights of a Professional Athlete, Legal Framework and Problematic Issues”. An analysis of the rulings of the Court of Arbitration for Sport concludes that professional athletes regularly turn to arbitration, in connection with human rights violations. The number of professional athletes today is high enough to draw attention to the fact that there are a number of human rights restrictions and violations in professional sport. Given that human rights are not absolute and are controlled, the author will assess the extent and necessity of the athlete's human rights restrictions. At work, the author tries to find solutions to reduce human rights restrictions and whether it can be achieved by amendments and additions to national legislation.
