Deju un kustību terapija bērniem ar uzvedības un emocionāliem traucējumiem: darbības jomu noteikšanas pārskats

Abstract

Maģistra darba ietvaros pētīts deju un kustību terapijas (DKT) pielietojums bērniem ar uzvedības un emocionāliem traucējumiem (U/ET). Pētījuma mērķis bija izstrādāt darbības jomu noteikšanas pārskatu. Lai sniegtu daudzpusīgu un sistemātisku pārskatu par pieejamo pierādījumu bāzi DKT bērniem ar U/ET, tika izvirzīti 8 pētījuma jautājumi attiecībā uz pētījumu metodoloģisko kvalitāti, DKT procesa un organizācijas raksturojumu, pētījuma dalībnieku raksturojumu un DKT principu identificēšanu. Darbības jomu noteikšanas pārskatā iekļauti 14 kvantitatīva, kvalitatīva un jaukta dizaina pētījumi, kas atbilst izstrātātajiem iekļaušanas/izslēgšanas kritērijiem. Pētījumu meklēšana veikta Taylor & Francis; ProQuest; PubMed; ClinicalKey; Cochrane Library; EBSCOhost; Google Scholar; Science Direct; Sage Journals un Wiley Online Library datubāzēs. Nepublicētie pētījumi tika meklēti BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) datubāzē, tika pārlūkotas disertācijas un noslēguma darbi, kā arī “pelēkā literatūra”. Pētījumu atlase veikta, ievērojot PRISMA 2020 procedūru. Pētījumu metodoloģiskās kvalitātes izvērtēšanai izmantots jaukto metožu izvērtēšanas instruments Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) (Hong et al., 2021). Datu ieguve veikta, izmantojot modificētas datu ieguves tabulas Microsoft Excel programmā, turpmākai datu apstrādei un analīzei izmantojot aprakstošās statistikas metodes (Berman Brown & Saunders, 2007), tematisko analīzi un kvalitatīvo kontentanalīzi (Levac et al., 2010; Pipere, 2016). Maģistra darba pētījums sniedz daudzpusīgu ieskatu par DKT pielietojumu darbā ar bērniem ar U/ET, aplūkojot gan grūtības, kas raksturīgas minētajai k/p grupai, gan sniedzot informāciju par deju un kustību terapeita darba specifiku darbā bērniem ar U/ET. Darbības jomu noteikšanas pārskatā aprakstīti 18 DKT principi, kas identificēti pētījumos par DKT bērniem ar U/ET. Izveidotais darbības jomu noteikšanas pārskats ir pirmais šāda veida pētījums latviešu valodā un var sniegt atbalstu zinātniskās pētniecības turpināšanai un palīdzēt deju un kustību terapeitiem un citiem veselības aprūpē, sociālajā aprūpē un rehabilitācijā, kā arī izglītības vidē nodarbinātajiem labāk izprast U/ET specifiku un DKT principus darbā ar bērniem ar U/ET.

The use of dance movement therapy (DMT) for children with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) was studied within the framework of the master's thesis. The aim of the study was to conduct a scoping review. In order to provide an extensive and systematic overview of the evidence base for DMT for children with EBD, 8 research questions were raised regarding the methodological quality of studies, the characteristics of the DMT process and organization, the characteristics of research participants and identification of the DMT principles. The scoping review included 14 quantitative, qualitative and mixed design studies that met the inclusion/exclusion criteria developed. Search was conducted using Taylor & Francis; ProQuest; PubMed; ClinicalKey; Cochrane Library; EBSCOhost; Google Scholar; ScienceDirect; Sage Journals and Wiley Online Library databases. Unpublished studies were searched in the BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine) database, dissertations, theses and “grey literature” were browsed. The studies were selected according to the PRISMA 2020 procedure. The Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) (Hong et al., 2021) was used to evaluate the methodological quality of research. Data extraction was performed using modified data extraction tables in the Microsoft Excel program, for further data processing and analysis descriptive statistical methods (Berman Brown & Saunders, 2007), thematic analysis and qualitative content analysis (Levac et al., 2010; Pipere, 2016) were applied. The master's thesis provides an extensive insight into the application of DMT for children with EBD, illuminating both the difficulties that are characteristics of the mentioned client/patient group, and particulars about the specifics of the work of a dance and movement therapist in working with children with EBD. The scoping review describes 18 DMT principles identified in research on DMT for children with EBD. The scoping review created is the first study of its kind in Latvian and can provide contribution for the continuation of scientific research and help dance movement therapists and others employed in health care, social care and rehabilitation, as well as in the educational environment, to gain better understanding of the specifics of EBD and principles of DMT for children with EBD.
