Abstract

ANOTĀCIJA

Šī maģistra darba tēma ir ‘’Psihologu profesionālās identitātes pašrefleksija un apzinātie resursi profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā’’. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt, kā psihologi reflektē par savu profesionālo identitāti, un noskaidrot, kādi ir šo psihologu apzinātie resursi profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā. Pētījuma dizains: pētījuma dizains ir paralēlais iedarinātais (ang. nested) pētījums. Pētījums sastāv no diviem posmiem, kas ietvēra kvalitatīvās metodoloģijas izmantošanu, kuras notika vienlaikus, lai iegūtu plašāku perspektīvu par pētāmo problēmu, un atbildētu uz atšķirīgiem pētījuma jautājumiem. Pētījuma metode: Pētījuma kvalitatīvā metode ietvēra daļēji strukturētu interviju ievākšana notika laika posmā no 19.06.2022. – 3.09.2022. Tās ietvaros tika intervēti 6 psihologi ar daļēji strukturētas intervijas palīdzību. Psihologu izlase notika pēc nevarbūtības principa. Lai atklātu psihologu pašreflektētos izaicinājumus un apzinātos resursus psihologu profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā, tika veikta interviju satura tematiskā kontentanalīze. Pētījuma kvantitatīvā metodoloģija ietvēra psihologu anketēšanu, kurai tika izmantota RSU pētnieku izstrādātā ‘’Psihoģiskās palīdzības sniedzēju profesionālās identitātes aptauja’’ (PPS PI V2) (Akmane u.c., 2021), kura tika ievietota platformā visidati.lv un izplatīta izpildīšanai ar sociālo tīklu palīdzību. Rezultātu integrācijai, atšķirīgo pētījuma jautājumu atbildēšanai un secinājumu izdarīšanai, tika izmantota skaitlisko un tekstuālo datu integrācija. Pētījuma jautājumi: Kvalitatīvās metodes pētījuma jautājumi: 1) Kādas intervijās paustās apakštēmas liecina par psihologu profesionālās identitātes pašrefleksiju un profesionālās darbības aspektiem ? 2) Kādas intervijās paustās apakštēmas liecina par psihologu profesionālās identitātes pašreflektētajiem izaicinājumiem profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā? 3) Kādas intervijās paustās apakštēmas liecina par psihologu profesiontālās identitātes apzinātajiem resursiem profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā? Kvantitatīvās metodes pētījuma jautājumi: 4) Vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp psihologu darba stāžu un PPS PI anketas skalu rādītājiem? 5) Vai pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp psihologu vecumu un PPS PI anketas skalu rādītājiem? Pētījuma rezultāti: Interviju tematiskā kontentanalīze atklāj trīs galvenās tēmas, par kurām psihologi runā savās intervijās: 1) Psihologu pašrefleksija par savu profesionālo darbību un profesionālo identitāti sociālās krīzes kontekstā; 2) Psihologu pašrefleksija par izaicinājumiem profesionālajā darbībā sociālās krīzes kontekstā; 3) Psihologu apzinātie (jeb uztvertie) resursi profesionālajā darbībā sociālo krīžu kontekstā. 1. ABSTRACT

The topic of this master's thesis is "Self-reflection of psychologists' professional identity and perceived resources in professional activity in the context of social crises". The aim of this study is to investigate how psychologists reflect on their professional identity and to find out what resources these psychologists have in their professional activities in the context of social crisis. Study design: study design is a parallel nested research. The study consists of two phases - qualitative and quantitative phase, which took place simultaneously, to gain a broader perspective on the researched problem. Research method: Collection of semi-structured interviews took place in the period from 19.06.2022. – 3.09.2022. In its framework, 6 psychologists were interviewed. The selection of psychologists was based on the non-probability principle. In order to reveal the self-reflected challenges of psychologists and the perceived resources in the professional activity of psychologists in the context of social crises, thematic content analysis of the interviews was carried out. In the quantitative phase of the research, a survey of psychologists was conducted, for which the ‘’Professional identity questionnaire for psychological help providers’’ (PPS PI V2) (Akmane et.al., 2021) developed by RSU researchers was used, which was posted on the visidati.lv platform and distributed for completion with the help of social networks. A combination of numerical and textual data was used to integrate the results, asnwee different research questions and draw conclusions. Research questions: Qualitative methodology questions: 1) What sub-themes expressed in the interviews indicate the self-reflection of psychologists' professional identity and aspects of professional activity? 2) What sub-themes expressed in the interviews indicate the self-reflected challenges of psychologists' professional identity in their professional activities in the context of social crises? 3) What subthemes expressed in the interviews indicate the professional identities of psychologists conscious resources in professional activities in the context of social crises? Quantitative methodology questions: 4) Are there statistically significant relationships between psychologists' work experience and PPS PI V2 questionnaire scale indicators? 5) Are there statistically significant relationships between psychologists' age and PPS PI V2 questionnaire scale scores? Research results: The thematic content analysis of interviews reveals three main themes that psychologists talk about in their interviews: 1) Psychologists' self-reflection on their professional activity and professional identity in the context of social crisis; 2) Psychologists' self-reflection on challenges in professional activity in the context of social crisis; 3) Psychologists' conscious (or perceived) resources in professional activities in the context of social crises.
