Abstract: Kvalifikācijas darba tēma: Stresa pārvarēšanas metožu izmantošana fiziski aktīviem vīriešiem un sievietēm. Anketa sastāvēja no 13 jautājumiem. Novērtējot slodžu intensitāti pēc Mann-Whitney testa varam ievērot to, ka proporcija lielāka pie augstas intensitātes p<0,001 Hī kvadrāta testa. 42,5% vīrieši fizisko aktivitašu laikā darbojas augstā intensitatē, bet 45,9% sieviešu vidējā intensitatē.
Qualification thesis topic: The use of stress management methods for physically active men and women. Purpose of the study: To investigate what methods of stress management are used by physically active men and physically active women. Topicality of the topic: A physically inactive lifestyle is one of the risk factors that negatively affects a healthy and quality life. Physical activity is associated with many health benefits, including reducing body fat, improving the heart and blood vessels and increasing lean body weight, improving well-being and more effective functional abilities. By studying the relationship between physical activity and stress, physical activity is focused on improving mental health. People who train have less depression, anxiety, and stress levels. It has been proven that physical activity and physical exertion contribute to positive changes in a person's mental health and the ability to cope with stressful situations. Research question: What physical activities do physically active men and women use to reduce stress? Research methods: The study was conducted with the help of a questionnaire created by the author of the study and obtained participant data on stress management techniques used by respondents to reduce stress. The questionnaire consisted of 13 questions. At the beginning of the questionnaire, I found out the age and gender of the participants. The second part of the questionnaire reveals what physical activity the participants are engaged in. The third part of the questionnaire explores what methods are used by physically active men and women to reduce stress. In the fourth part of questionnaire, questions are asked at what level of load the participants are engaged in physical activity. In the fifth part of the questionnaire, participants had to evaluate their skills to evaluate themselves on a rating scale of 1-10, how they feel after physical activity. Results: The study included the desired number of respondents, which was 101 participants. The study proved that physical activity is an important part of everyday life for respondents, helping to reduce stress by employing their bodies in physical exertion. There was no significant difference between the types of physical activity and the methods of reducing stress. In turn, the difference appeared in the difference between women and men at what intensity the participants put effort into the load, where the P value after the Mann-Whitney test is p<0.003, which is a statistically significant difference, given that there were 21 more women than men. When evaluating the intensity of loads after the Mann-Whitney test, we can observe that the proportion is higher at the high intensity p<0.001 Hee square test. 42.5% of men operate at high intensities during physical activity, while 45.9% of women have an average intensity.
