Abstract
Bakalaura darba nosaukums: Ergoterapijas metodes ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā bērniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem: darbības jomas pārskats.
Bakalaura darba autore: Anastasija Vaičule, Veselības un sporta zinātņu fakultātes studiju programmas “Ergoterapija” 4. studiju gada studente.
Pētījuma aktualitāte: Pasaulē autiskā spektra traucējumi skar vismaz vienu no simts cilvēkiem, un to incidence strauji pieaug. Bērniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem raksturīgs patoloģiskais funkcionēšanas veids savstarpējā sociālā mijiedarbībā, komunikācijā, stereotipā un vienveidīgā uzvedībā, kas ierobežo iesaisti ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā. Ergoterapijas mērķis ir veicināt personas iesaisti un līdzdalību jēgpilnu aktivitāšu veikšanā, kas savukārt veicinās personas veselību un labklājību. Šobrīd uz pierādījumiem balstītu pētījumu skaits par ergoterapijas metodēm ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā bērniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem ir ierobežots.
Pētījuma jautājums: Kādas metodes bērniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanai tiek īstenotas ergoterapijas procesā?
Pētījuma mērķis: Apkopot un analizēt internetā pieejamās zinātniskās publikācijas no 2014. gada līdz 2024. gadam par ergoterapijā pielietojamām metodēm ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā bērniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem.
Metodes: Pētījuma dizains – darbības jomas pārskats. Zinātnisko publikāciju meklēšana tika veikta elektroniskajās uz pierādījumiem balstītās datu bāzēs EBSCOhost, PubMed, ProQuest, Taylor & Francis Online, Wiley Online Library, ScienceDirect un SAGE journals. Atlasīto publikāciju izvērtēšana tika veikta pēc PRISMA – ScR vadlīnijām.
Rezultāti: darbības jomas pārskata rezultātā tika atlasīti un apkopoti dati no 5 zinātniskajām publikācijām par ergoterapijas metodēm, kas ir vērstas uz bērnu ar AST iesaisti ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā. Publikācijās aprakstītās ergoterapijas metodes bija - pašmacības programma, sensorās intergrācijas programma, videomodelēšanas mājas programma, motoro prasmju veicinošas programmas un sociālo stāstu metode.
Secinājumi: Darbības jomas pārskata rezultāti liecina par ergoterapijā pielietojamu metožu daudzveidību.Visas identificētas ergoterapijas metodes uzlaboja bērnu ar AST iesaisti ikdienas aktivitāšu veikšanā. Lai spriestu par ergoterapijas metožu efektivitāti turpmāk ir jāveic sistematiskie literatūras pārskati.

Title: Occupational Therapy Methods in Performing Daily Activities for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Scope Review. Author of the Bachelor's Thesis: Anastasija Vaičule, a 4th-year occupational Therapy student. Background: Autism spectrum disorder affects at least one in a hundred people worldwide and their incidence is rapidly increasing. Children with autism spectrum disorders are characterized by abnormal functioning in mutual social interaction, communication, stereotypical, and repetitive behavior, which limits their engagement in performing daily activities. The goal of occupational therapy is to promote a person's engagement and participation in meaningful activities, which in turn promotes the person's health and well-being. Currently, the number of evidence-based studies on occupational therapy methods in performing daily activities for children with autism spectrum disorders is limited. Question of study: What methods are implemented in the occupational therapy process for performing daily activities for children with autism spectrum disorder? Objective: To compile and analyze scientific publications available on the internet from 2014 to 2024 on the methods used in occupational therapy for performing daily activities for children with autism spectrum disorder. Methods: The research design is a scope review. The search for scientific publications was conducted in electronic evidence-based databases EBSCOhost, PubMed, ProQuest, Taylor & Francis Online, Wiley Online Library, ScienceDirect, and SAGE journals. The selected publications were evaluated according to PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Results: As a result of the scope review, data from 5 scientific publications on occupational therapy methods aimed at engaging children with ASD in performing daily activities were selected and compiled. The occupational therapy methods described in the publications included - self-learning programs, sensory integration programs, home video modeling programs, motor skills enhancement programs, and social story methods. Conclusions: The results of the scope review indicate a variety of methods applicable in occupational therapy. All identified occupational therapy methods improved the engagement of children with ASD in performing daily activities. To determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy methods, systematic literature reviews need to be conducted in the future.
