Kvalifikācijas darba “Augstas intensitātes intervālu un vidējas intensitātes treniņa
ietekme uz aerobajām darbaspējām, izmantojot dažādus kardiotrenažierus” mērķis ir izpētīt,
vai augstas intensitātes intervālu un vidējas intensitātes treniņi uz skrejceliņa aerobās darba
spējas ietekmēs vairāk, nekā uz velotrenažiera. Aerobās darbaspējas ir veselības
saglabāšanas un uzlabošanas būtiska sastāvdaļa ikvienam cilvēkam. Aerobās slodzes
regularitāte palīdz uzlabot dažādas cilvēka veselībai svarīgas funkcijas, tostarp sirds un
asinsvadu sistēmas funkcijas, palielinot izturību un samazinot dažādus ar veselību saistītos
riskus. Ir pieejami ļoti daudz un dažādi pētījumi par augstas intensitātes intervālu un vidējas
intensitātes treniņiem, bet par to kurš kardiotrenažieris būtu visefektīvākais aerobo darba
spēju uzlabošanai, pētījumu ir salīdzinoši maz. Šī iemesla dēļ rodas nepieciešamība
noskaidrot, kurš no kardiotrenažieriem varētu efektīvāk uzlabot aerobās darba spējas,
izmantojot augstas intensitātes intervālu un vidējas intensitātes treniņus. Tika izvirzīta
hipotēze, ka augstas intensitātes intervālu un vidējas intensitātes treniņi uz skrejceliņa
aerobās darba spējas ietekmēs vairāk, nekā uz velotrenažiera.
Lai noskaidrotu pētījuma dalībnieku maksimālo skābekļa patēriņu (VO2max) pirms un
pēc pētījuma, tika veikts Life fitness fit tests uz kardiotrenažiera skrejceliņa un
kardiotrenažiera velotrenažiera. Katra testa ilgums bija piecas minūtes. Dalībnieki (n = 16)
tika sadalīti divās grupās, un katra grupa veica mēneša ilgu treniņu programmu uz skrejceliņa
(n = 8) un velotrenažiera (n = 8), veicot divus treniņus nedēļā ar augstas intensitātes
intervāliem un vidējas intensitātes treniņiem. Hipotēze neapstiprinājās, augstas intensitātes
intervālu un vidējas intensitātes treniņi uz skrejceliņa un velotrenažiera aerobās darba spējas
ietekmē līdzīgi. Tika secināts, ka gan velotrenažiera, gan skrejceliņa treniņu programmas
veicināja nelielu aerobo darbaspēju pieaugumu, kas atspoguļojas VO2max mediānas vērtību
izmaiņās uz kardiotrenažieriem skrejceliņš un velotrenažieris. Nav statistiski nozīmīgas
atšķirības treniņos izmantojot skrejceliņu vai velotrenažieri.
Pēc pētījumā iegūtajiem rezultātiem kardiotrenažieru (skrejceliņš un velotrenažieris)
izmantošana būs efektīva maksimālā skābekļa patēriņa palielināšanā.
The aim of the qualification “The effect of high-intensity interval and moderate intensity training on aerobic capacity using different cardio machines” is to investigate whether high intensity interval and moderate intensity training on a treadmill has a greater effect on aerobic performance than on an exercise bike. Aerobic performance is an essential component of maintaining and improving health for every person. Regular aerobic exercise helps improve various functions important for human health, including cardiovascular system functions, increasing endurance and reducing various health-related risks. There are many and varied studies available on high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity training, but relatively few studies on which cardio machine would be most effective for improving aerobic capacity. For this reason, there is a need to find out which of the cardio machines could more effectively improve aerobic capacity using high-intensity interval and moderate intensity training. The hypothesis of qualification is that high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity training on a treadmill would have a greater effect on aerobic performance than on an exercise bike. To determine the participants' maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max) before and after the study, a Life fitness fit test was performed on a treadmill and exercise bike. Each test lasted five minutes. Participants (n = 16) were divided into two groups, and each group performed a month-long training program on a treadmill (n = 8) and an exercise bike (n = 8), performing two workouts per week with high-intensity intervals and moderate-intensity workouts. The hypothesis was not confirmed, high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity training on a treadmill and exercise bike have a similar effect on aerobic capacity. It was concluded that both the ekercise bike and treadmill training programs promoted a small increase in aerobic capacity, which is reflected in changes in median VO2max values on the treadmill and exercise bike cardio machines. There is no statistically significant difference in training using a treadmill or exercise bike. According to the results of the study, the use of cardio equipment (treadmill and exercise bike) will be effective in increasing maximal oxygen consumption.
