Kopsavilkums
Relevance: Adolescence is a period of intense physical and emotional development, during which the risk of musculoskeletal injuries significantly increases. This risk is influenced by both objective physical parameters and the individual’s subjective well-being. Cycling, as a popular sport among youth, requires not only physical preparedness but also mental balance; however, these aspects are often insufficiently integrated into injury prevention strategies. The relevance of this research lies in the need to combine objective and subjective health indicators to identify increased injury risk in this specific age group in a timely manner. Aim of the Study: To assess the subjective and objective injury risks and their interrelation in adolescent cyclists during the pre-season period. Structure of the Thesis: The empirical part of the bachelor thesis is written in Latvian and consists of 62 pages, using 128 literature sources. The research includes 9 figures and 6 tables. Supplementary materials include tables of research results presented across 8 A4 pages.
