Ģimenes fotoalbumu prakses digitālajā laikmetā

Abstract

Dzīvojot digitalizācijas laikmetā, mūsdienās cilvēks ar grūtībām spēj iztēloties savu dzīvi bez informatīvajām tehnoloģijām, jo ikdienā, lai to atvieglotu, izmanto dažādas ierīces un palīgrīkus – viedtālruņus, datorus un interneta resursus. Digitalizācija ir ievērojami ietekmējusi cilvēku paradumus attiecībā uz fotogrāfiju izveidi un saglabāšanu. Cilvēki ir sākuši mazāk veidot tradicionālus, fiziskus fotoalbumus, dodot priekšroku digitalizētiem formātiem. Ģimenes joprojām veido fotogrāfijas, tās saglabā un dalās ar tām, tomēr ir redzama fotogrāfiju saglabāšanas tradīciju transformācija. Līdz ar to ir svarīgi izpētīt un noteikt, kāpēc fotoalbumu prakses ir izmainījušās un kā digitālā vide ir ietekmējusi ģimeņu prakses saistībā ar fotoalbumu veidošanu un glabāšanu. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt digitālās vides ietekmi uz ģimenes fotoalbumu veidošanas praksēm mūsdienu ģimenēs ar maziem bērniem. Bakalaura darba pētījums tika veidots, balstoties uz teorētiskās literatūras izpētīšanu, ģimeņu pārstāvju un fotografēšanas jomas pārstāvju intervēšanu, kā arī veikto pētījuma analīzi. Darba ietvaros tika precizēts jēdziens ģimenes fotoalbums, pamatojoties uz pašlaik pieejamajiem daudzveidīgajiem veidiem un alternatīvajām iespējām saglabāt savas fotogrāfijas gan fiziskā, gan digitālā veidā. Pamatojoties uz iegūtajiem rezultātiem, tika noskaidrots, ka ar ģimenes fotoalbumiem saistītās prakses pārsvarā ir digitalizētas tādēļ, ka digitālā vide ir padarījusi visu, kas saistīts ar fotogrāfijām, pieejamāku, vienkāršāku un automatizētāku, līdz ar to šis process ir noticis arī ar fotoalbumiem. Ģimenes ikdienā izmanto digitalizētus veidus, kā saglabāt fotogrāfijas, kā arī digitāli veic fotogrāfiju rādīšanu citiem, tomēr dažreiz lieto arī fiziskus veidus, pamatojoties uz ģimenes iekšējām tradīcijām vai daļēju neuzticību modernajām tehnoloģijām. Digitalizētas fotoalbumu prakses stimulē fotogrāfiju apjoma palielināšanos, kas cilvēkiem rada grūtības saistībā ar fotogrāfiju izvēli saglabāšanai.Living in the era of digitization, in the present time a person can hardly imagine his life without information technologies, because to facilitate it, various devices and auxiliary tools are used in everyday life - smartphones, computers and Internet resources. Digitization has significantly influenced people's habits regarding the creation and preservation of photographs. People have begun to create less traditional, physical photo albums, preferring digitized analogues. Families still create photographs, save them and share them, however, the transformation of the traditions of preserving photographs is visible. Therefore, it is important to study and determine why photo album practices have changed and how the digital environment has influenced family practices related to the creation and storage of photo albums. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the impact of the digital environment on the practices of creating family photo albums in modern families with young children. The bachelor's thesis’s research was based on the study of theoretical literature, interviewing representatives of traditional families and representatives of the field of photography, as well as the conducted analysis of the research. The concept of a family photo album has been clarified in this thesis, based on the currently available diverse ways and alternative options for preserving one's photos, both physically and digitally. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that practices related to family photo albums are mostly digitized, because the digital environment has made all processes related to photography, including photo albums, more accessible, simpler and automated. Families use digitized ways to preserve photos in their daily lives, as well as digitally share their photos with others, but sometimes they also use physical ways, based on family internal traditions or partial distrust of modern technologies. Digitized photo album practices stimulate the increase in the volume of photos, which creates difficulties for people regarding choosing the right photographs to save.
