Abstract
Mērķis: Pielietojot Koniska stara datortomogrāfiju, izvērtēt un klasificēt sakņu kanālu sistēmas anatomiju apakšžokļa incisīviem un kanīniem.
Metodes: No kopumā 2586 diagnostikas un ārstēšanas plānošanas nolūkos veiktiem KSDT izmeklējumiem tiek atlasīti 42 izmeklējumi, kuros ir vizualizējami apakšžokļa incisīvi un kanīni. Tiek ievākti dati par: sakņu skaitu, kanālu skaitu, apikālo atveru skaitu, zoba veidu. Pielietojot Vertuči klasifikāciju tiek klasificēta sakņu kanālu sistēmas anatomija.
Rezultāti: Apakšžokļa centrālos incisīvos 57,33 % gadījumos ir Vertuči I tipa kanāla anatomija, bet Vertuči III tipa anatomija bija sastopama 37,33 % gadījumos. Laterālos incisīvos tika konstatēts Vertuči I tips 53,57 % gadījumos, nākamā biežāk sastopamā variācija - Vertuči III tips 41,67%. Kanīnos 92 % zobu redzama Vertuči I tipa anatomiskā variācija, 4 % redz Vertuči III anatomisko variantu, bet vēl 4 % redz divu sakņu- divu kanālu anatomisko variantu.
Purpose: To investigate and classify the root canal anatomy of mandibular incisors and canines using CBCT. Materials and methods: From a total 2586 CBCT studies conducted as part of routine examination and treatment planning 42 suitable studies were selected based on visibility of mandibular incisors or canines. The following data was recorded: (1) number of roots; (2) number of canals; (3) No. of apical orifices; (4) Type of tooth. Vertucci classification of root canal morphology was used to classify each tooth. Results: Most frequent anatomical variation in mandibular central incisors Is Vertucci type I (57,33 % of cases), Vertucci type III was the second most common with 37,33 % of cases. In lateral incisors Vertucci type I was identified in 53,57 % of cases, Vertucci III was the second most common identified in 41,67% of cases. In mandibular canines Vertucci type I was identified in 92% of cases, Vertucci type III was also identified in 4% cases and in 4% of cases a two root – two canal configuration was identified. Conclusions: Vertucci type I is the most common anatomical configuration in mandibular incisors and canines. Study data is concurrent with similar studies conducted in Europe. Study population is insufficient for the data to be attributable to the Latvian population at large.
