Comparisson of Zirkonia Crowns with Porcelan Fused Metal(PFM) Crowns

Abstract

Tā kā fiksētās protezēšanas joma nemitīgi attīstās, ārstiem ir jābūt zinošiem par dažādiem pieejamajiem materiāliem, kuri ir vispiemērotākie konkrētam pacientam. Šis ir literatūras apskats par divu materiālu – metālkeramikas kroņu un cirkonija kroņu – salīdzinājumu. Pētījuma mērķis bija iegūt pilnīgu apskatu, izmantojot avotus, kuros aplūkotas dažādu materiālu perspektīvas. Tas ietvēra zoba rekonstrukciju, dažādas bioloģiskas un tehniskas komplikācijas, piemēram nodilumu un estētiskas problēmas, kā arī to, kā tikt galā ar šīm problēmām.As the field of fixed prosthodontics develops continuously, clinicians are required to maintain knowledge about various materials available and which is most suitable for the situation with the patient. This is a literature review on comparison between two materials, metal-ceramic crowns and zirconia crowns. Objective was to achieve a thorough view using sources dealing with a variety of perspectives between the materials, including the survival and success of restorations, different biological and technical complications and how the restorations handle the challenges.
