Kopsavilkums
The bachelor thesis “Adolescents' awareness of human papillomavirus and views on human papillomavirus vaccination” addresses a topical public health issue. The aim of the study is to in-vestigate the level of awareness of adolescents about human papillomavirus (HPV) and their opin-ion about vaccination as a preventive measure. The theoretical part of the paper analyses the nature, prevalence, risk factors and relationship of CPV to oncological diseases, as well as the effectiveness of vaccination and public attitudes. The research part of the study is a quantitative study, which used a questionnaire to determine the level of awareness and attitudes of adolescents towards CPV and vaccination, with the results analysed by gender. The quantitative method used was a questionnaire (see Annex 1). The results show that awareness is insufficient, with girls having higher awareness than boys. Vaccination is supported by the majority, but there are doubts about safety. The thesis consists of 58 pages, 17 tables, 4 figures, 67 references and 4 annexes.
