Pētnieciskā darba “Selēns, jods un D vitamīns normālai vairogdziedzera funkcionēšanai un to ietekme uz pataloģijām” mērķis ir noskaidrot normāla vairogdziedzera funkcionēšanai nepieciešamos vitamīnus un minerālvielas un kā arī noskaidrot, kā selēns, jods un D vitamīns ietekmē patoloģiju remisiju.
Mūsdienās hipotireoze un hipertireoze ir vienas no biežāk sastopamajām autoimūnām vairogdziedzera slimībām. Ar katru gadu to pacientu skaits pieaug. Līdz ar to ir svarīgi tās diagnosticēt un uzsākt pēc iespējas ātrāku ārstēšanu, lai varētu novērst komplikācijas.
Ir veikti vairāki pētījumi, kuros ir pētīta D vitamīna, joda un selēna ietekmi uz šo slimību progresēšanu un ārstēšanu.
The aim of this research "Selenium, iodine and vitamin D for normal functioning of the thyroid gland and their effect on pathologies" is to find out the vitamins and minerals necessary for the normal functioning of the thyroid gland and also to find how selenium, iodine and vitamin D affect the remission of pathologies. Today, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are among the most common autoimmune thyroid diseases. The number of their patients is increasing every year. Therefore, it is important to diagnose them and start treatment as soon as possible in order to prevent complications. A number of studies have been conducted investigating the effects of vitamin D, iodine and selenium on the progression and treatment of these diseases.
