This literature review was an attempt to get a better overview of existing research and tried to answer the questions of how lower back pain can develop over time and how it is linked to certain habits. The focus was especially on the comparison of influencing factors in occupational settings, leisure time, and lifestyle choices. Comparing multiple studies showed results on different levels. Despite the actual research a brief explanation of the possible pathophysiologies and diagnostic criteria can be found.en-UK
