Kopsavilkums

This thesis explores the role of user-generated content in driving brand engagement as part of Madara Cosmetics' content marketing strategy. The study highlights the growing importance of user-generated content in content marketing as consumers increasingly depend on digital platforms and social media for decision-making. The study shows that user-generated content is considered more authentic and trustworthy than traditional advertising and plays a key role in building consumer loyalty and brand awareness. It contributes significantly to brand engagement by creating a sense of authenticity and trust, which directly influences consumers' purchasing decisions. By allowing users to create and share content, brands increase their visibility and build a stronger emotional connection with their audience. User-generated content is a cost-effective method of content creation, but it needs to be combined with high-quality, professional content to maintain consistency and long-term engagement. Madara Cosmetics has built a solid and consistent brand communication across all digital platforms, maintaining consistency of purpose, aesthetics and values. While frequent use of user-generated content increases audience engagement, there is a risk of content repetition, which can be counterproductive. As part of a content marketing strategy, it is important to diversify content formats and engage with a wider range of content creators. This thesis provides insights into the role of user-generated content in a content marketing strategy and offers recommendations for Madara Cosmetics to improve its audience engagement. The study contributes to a broader understanding of the growing importance of user-generated content in content marketing. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the role of user-generated content in enhancing brand engagement at Madara Cosmetics and to provide recommendations for improving the use of user-generated content in content marketing strategy, based on theoretical insights and empirical research data. The thesis is 65 pages. The thesis contains 2 tables, 36 references and 5 annexes.
