Abstract
Anketēšanā tiks izmantota aptaujas anketa „Mērķa saturs vingrinājumu aptaujai” (Goal Content for Exercise Questionnaire (GCEQ)).
The topic of the qualification work - Customer goals and their differences between genders in sports clubs. Topicality of qualification work - In December 2019, when the pandemic virus COVID-19 took over the world, the entire population of the world was isolated to reduce the spread of the virus. This isolation affected the residents' physical activity and psychological health. According to the summary of statistical data published on the website of the Central Statistics Office, Latvian residents spend an average of 2-4.5 hours a week on physical activities according to their age group. The purpose of the study - to investigate the goals, motivation and gender differences of customers in sports clubs using questionnaires. Research method - questionnaire, secondary data analysis. A questionnaire will be used in the survey „Goal Content for Exercise Questionnaire” (GCEQ). GCEQ (Sebire et al., 2008) the survey consists of 5 target groups, which include a total of 16 questions. The hypothesis put forward by the qualification thesis "sports club visitors, both women and men, have different goals and motivations" has been confirmed, because although women and men have the same goals of attending a sports club in terms of social belonging, image enhancement and health improvement, the goals of attending a sports club do not match in terms of social recognition and skill development. Keywords – sport, athlete, sports hall, sports club, womans and mens goals
