Perifēro vēnu katetru procedūras standarta ievērošana interno aprūpes māsu darbā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Perifēro venozo katetru procedūru standarta ievērošana interno māsu praksē”. Perifērie venozie katetri ir medicīniskas ierīces, kas visbiežāk tiek izmantotas slimnīcās pacientu aprūpes laikā, kas rada pavisam nelielu risku pacientam, taču no tiem var rasties arī nevēlamas blakusparādības, kas visbiežāk rodas nepareizas katetra ievadīšanas un aprūpes rezultātā. (Miliani, K., Taravella, R., Thillard, et al., 2017) Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot perifēro vēnu katetru procedūru standarta ievērošanu interno māsu praksē. Pētījuma jautājums bija – Kā tiek ievērots perifēro vēnu katetru procedūru standarts interno māsu praksē? Lai sasniegtu pētījumā izvirzīto mērķi, tika veikts kvalitatīvs pētījums, pielietojot darba autora izveidotu strukturētu novērojuma protokolu, kas balstīts uz X slimnīcas standarta “Vēnas kateterizācija ar perifērisko venozo kanili”. Pētījuma dalībnieki bija X slimnīcā strādājošās internās aprūpes māsas. Respondenti tika atlasīti izmantojot brīvprātības principu. Kopumā tika novērotas 20 X slimnīcā strādājošās internās aprūpes māsas. Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka lielākā daļa respondentu tos slimnīcas standartā atzīmētos punktus, kas ir saistīti ar pareizu pacienta identifikāciju, pacienta izglītošanu par veicamo procedūru, katetra ievadīšanas paņēmienu, dūriena sāpīgumu, palīdzību pacientam ērtas pozas ieņemšanai procedūras laikā. Daudz kļūdu ir arī roku higiēnas ievērošanā un nepieciešamā aprīkojuma izmantošanā. Bakalaura darbā ir 7 attēli, 25 izmantotie literatūras avoti un 20 pielikumi.The topic of the Bachelor paper is ‘Adherence to the standard of peripheral vein catheter procedures in the practice of nurses’. A peripheral venous catheter is a medical device which is most often used at hospitals to treat patients and which create a minor risk to a patient, at the same time it can cause undesirable side effects due to incorrect insertion into a vein and as a result of its inappropriate maintenance. (Miliani, K., Taravella, R., Thillard, et al., 2017) The aim of the research was to define obeying the standard of peripheral venous catheter procedures during nursing practice at internship. The question of the research was – How is the standard of peripheral venous catheter procedures obeyed during nursing practice at internship? To achieve the aim of the research the qualitative investigation was performed, using the structured observation protocol made by the author of the paper, which was based on the X hospital standard ‘Venous catheterization with peripheral venous cannula’. Participants of the investigation were the nursing staff at internship of the X hospital. Respondents were selected on the voluntary basis. In total 20 employed nurses at internsip of the X hospital were observed. The results of the research revealed that most of the respondents performed the points indicated in the hospital standard, which are related to the correct identification of a patient, giving instructions to the patient about the procedure to be performed, the technique of catheter insertion, pain of the puncture, help to take a comfortable position during the procedure. There are also many mistakes in hand hygiene and the use of the necessary equipment. The Bachelor paper contains 7 pictures, 25 bibliography items were used, it has also 20 appendices.
