Kopsavilkums
Darbs sastāv no 28
lappusēm, ietver 4 tabulas, 11 attēlus un 23 izmantotos avotus
The bachelor's thesis analyzes fears related to general anesthesia and their association with demographic factors among adult residents of Riga. The aim of the study was to identify which factors most significantly influence the level of fear among adult residents of Riga. The study has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational design and uses a quantitative method – a survey and statistical data analysis (ANOVA, Spearman correlation, multinomial logistic regression). The results indicate that gender and previous experience with anesthesia are significant demographic factors. It can be concluded that, overall, the aspects that caused the greatest fear were related to not waking up after surgery and experiencing pain during the procedure. The thesis consists of 28 pages, includes 4 tables, 11 figures, and references 23 sources.
