Kopsavilkums
Atopic dermatitis is the most common chronic skin disease. For decades treatment options have stayed unchanged, even though to the most part, they have not been effective or safe enough. Inefficiently treated atopic dermatitis may affect quality of life negatively. Biologics and JAK inhibitors are targeted treatment methods in moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, researched and investigated with the help of advancements in the understanding of the pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis. The future of treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis is based on biologics and JAK inhibitors. New targeted treatment will concur challenges and increase quality of life.
