Šī darba mērķis ir apkopot, atkārtot un ievākt datus par dažādo MR
pielietojumu kā izmeklējuma metodi, konkrēti biežākajiem potītes ievainojumiem un
patoloģijām, lai panāktu precīzāko iznākumu, kā arī lai uzlabotu ārstēšanu un prognozi.
Pareizas diagnozes uzstādīšana ir ļoti svarīga turpmākajiem sportista panākumiem, kā arī lai tiktu piemērota
efektīvākā ārstēšana. Pēdējā desmitgadē magnētiskā resonanse tiek uzskatīta par labāko attēldiagnostikas
izmeklēšanas veidu šāda veida traumām. Sportam un citām darbībām, kas saistītas ar skriešanu, līdzsvaru un ātru apstāšanās-iedarbināšanas kustību, šķiet, ir lielāks potītes savainojuma risks.
ATFL ir visbiežāk savainotā potītes saite un līdz ar to visbiežāk novērotā trauma ER, kam seko kombinēta ATFL un CFL trauma konkrētā modelī. Adekvātas zināšanas par potīšu locītavu anatomiju un biomehāniku veicina bojājuma lokalizāciju, samazina diagnostiskās cilvēka kļūdas, kā arī palīdz pret pareizu ārstēšanas metodi.
MRI ir optimāla diagnostikas metode, lai noteiktu cīpslu un saišu patoloģijas, un tā var vadīt klīnisko lēmumu pieņemšanas procesu, lai savlaicīgi ārstētu un novērstu ilgstošu saslimstību, pateicoties augstajai mīksto audu kontrasta izšķirtspējai, neinvazīvajai tehnikai ar ļoti zemām radiofrekvencēm, kas ļauj vizualizēt vairākas plaknes: aksiālo, koronālo un sagitālo.
The aim of this study is to summarize, revise and gather data on the diverse applications of MRI as a diagnostic method, specifically in common ankle injuries and pathologies, to obtain the most precise outcome and as well, to improve treatment and prognosis. Constructing a proper diagnosis is crucial for an athlete’s success, so the best treatment can be further implemented. Magnetic resonance imaging has been proposed to be the best imaging modality for this kind of injury in the past decades. Sports and other activities that involve running, balance and quick stop-start movements appear to be of a higher risk of ankle injury. ATFL is the most frequently injured ankle ligament and thus the most frequently observed injury in the ER, followed by combined injury of ATFL and CFL in a specific pattern. An adequate knowledge of the ankles joint anatomy and biomechanics contributes to the lesion localization, decreases diagnostic human errors, and helps for a correct treatment method. MRI is an optimal diagnosing modality to detect tendon and ligament pathologies, and may guide the clinical decision process for early treatment and prevention of long-term morbidity, due to its high soft-tissue contrast resolution, noninvasive technique, with very low range radio frequencies, that as well allows multiple planes to be visualized: axial, coronal and sagittal.
