Kopsavilkums

The foot affects a person's ability to move freely and comfortably. It takes on itself all the physical power that comes from performing physical activities -- running, lecturing and walking, and if there are disruptions that limit those activities, then the ability to move freely is limited and can cause problems in everyday life (Nesterovica et al., 2021). Deformation of the flat foot (Latin. v. pes planus), which is asymptomatic for long periods of time, can later cause pain, gait and sensory problems, cause limited movement of the joints of the foot, as well as arthritic manifestations with appropriate progression of dysfunction. In the absence of precise clinical or radiological criteria for determining the flat foot, it is unknown how prevalent the disease is. Its deformation has been studied by many researchers from around the world, and children aged two to six were found to have higher prevalence (21 to 57 per cent), which decreases (13.4 to 27.6 per cent) in primary school-aged children. Several experts believe it ranges from 5% to 14% in the adult population (Aenumulapalli et al., 2017; Шевелёва и др., 2018). Adult patients with this phenomenon often experience gradual pain in the middle of the foot and behind the medial ankle along the tibialis posterior towards muscle. In a study conducted in 2020, flat foot condition was seen in 38.2 percent of cases among teachers (Alqahtani, 2020). The literature review also looks at key directions of conservative therapy for flat-foot patients in terms of evidence-based medicine. Data on the use of special orthoses and orthopaedic footwear to correct foot deformation with a description of possible complications have been highlighted. Key physical therapy techniques used to stabilize the muscle tone of the feet are being analyzed. Provides data on the use of complex conservative therapy in flat foot patients (Banwell et al., 2014; Carr et al., 2016; Kim et al., 2016; Smyth et al., 2017).
