Kopsavilkums
The bachelor’s thesis “The Impact of Mobility Exercises on Knee Joint Range of Motion and Pain in Patients with Osteoarthritis” explores the role of physiotherapy in alleviating the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis. The aim of the study was to determine how mobility exercises affect the range of motion and pain levels in patients with osteoarthritis. As part of the research, a specific set of exercises was developed, and its effectiveness was evaluated using goniometry and the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) for pain. The results indicate that regular performance of mobility exercises significantly improves knee joint mobility and reduces pain, thereby enhancing the quality of life for patients. The thesis is based on a review of scientific literature, empirical data, and statistical analysis, and it confirms the effectiveness of physiotherapy in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
