Abstract
Pilotpētījumā piedalījās 38 dalībnieki (65,79 % sievietes), vecumā no 21 līdz 55 gadiem
(M=27,92; SD = 6,59). Savukārt, pamatpētījumā piedalījās 266 dalībnieki (71,1 % sievietes),
vecumā no 18 – 84 gadiem (M=32,96; SD=12,85).
jānovērtē Likerta skalā no 1 līdz 5. CERQ aptaujas konverģentās pamatotības pārbaudei papildus
tika ievākti dati izmantojot divus instrumentus - Emociju regulācijas grūtību skala (Difficulties in
Emotion Regulation Scale, Gratz & Roemer, 2004; Jansone, 2018), Emociju regulācijas prasmju
aptauja (Emotion Regulation Skills Questionnaire, Berking & Znoj, 2008; Kristiņa-Everte, Paiča
un Mārtinsone, 2021).
Pētījuma psihometriskie rādītāji atbilst zinātnē pieņemtajām normām, taču viens pants uzrāda
paaugstinātus un viens pazeminātus diksriminācijas indeksa rādītājus. Aptaujas iekšējās
saskaņotībās rādītāji ir labi (α = 0,68 – 0,86), taču divām no skalām - pazemināti. Konverģentās
pamatotības aprēķini liecina, ka pastāv statistiski nozīmīgas saistības starp vairākām CERQ
adaptīvajām un disfunkcionālajām skalām, ERSQ un DERS skalām.
Izpētošās faktoru analīzes rezultāti uzrāda 9 faktoru struktūra, kas atbilst oriģinālajai aptaujas
versijai, taču divi panti ar zemiem faktoru svariem tika izslēgti no aptaujas, attiecīgi, adaptētā
aptauja sastāv no 34 pantiem. Apstiprinošās faktoru analīze uzrāda, ka 9 faktoru modeļa derības
indeksi ir apmierinoši.
The aim of the study was to adapt the Cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (CERQ) into Latvian language. This questionnaire has 36 items, and it measures nine emotion regulation strategies, divided into adaptive and dysfunctional strategies. There are currently no tools in Latvia that measure cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Five research questions were raised for the study to examine the psychometric properties of the adapted questionnaire, the indicators of internal consistency of scales, as well as the convergent validity and results of the exploratory and confirmatory factors analysis. The pilot study involved 38 participants (65,79% female), aged 21 to 55 (M = 27,92; SD = 6,59). The final study included 266 participants (71,1% female), aged 18-84 years (M = 32,96; SD = 12,85). Data was collected on the Microsoft Forms website, where participants submitted an informer on demographics (age, gender, education level) and completed a Cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (Garnefski et al., 2001) and items were measured using Likert scale from 1 to 5. To measure convergent correlations of CERQ, data was additionally collected using two instruments – Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS, Gratz & Roemer, 2004; Jansone, 2018) and Emotion Regulation Skills Questionnaire (ERSQ, Berking & Znoj, 2008; Kristiņa- Everte, Paiča un Mārtinsone, 2021). The psychometric properties of the final study are in line with the norms accepted in science, but one item shows elevated and one lowered discrimination index. In the final study, internal consistency of the subscales shows good scores (α = 0,68 – 0,86), but two of the scales are satisfactory. The results of convergent validity suggest that there are statistically significant relationships between multiple CERQ adaptive and dysfunctional scales, ERSQ and DERS scales. The results of the exploratory factor analysis are presented by a 9-factor structure corresponding to the original version of the questionnaire, two items with low factor loadings got removed, respectively the adapted questionnaire consist of 34 items. Results of CFA suggest a 9 factor model with satisfactory fit.
