Kopsavilkums
The qualification thesis "Client's views on relaxation at the end of a workout" addresses the contemporary issue of the significance of relaxation and its positive effects on an individual's physical and emotional state. The aim of the study is to determine whether clients are offered a relaxation process, how clients perceive this process after low, medium, or high intensity workout, and whether these processes contribute to improving their physical and mental well-being. The thesis provides a theoretical overview of the impact of stress on the human body, emotional self-regulation, and the importance of relaxation exercises. Various relaxation methods, including muscle stretching, breathing techniques, yoga, and meditation, are examined in detail. The literature review highlights that regular implementation of relaxation exercises helps reduce muscle tension, improves sleep quality, and promotes overall emotional stability. The study utilized a quantitative approach, surveying 83 women aged 18 to 40 who engaged in low, medium, or high intensity workout sessions and subsequent relaxation processes. Survey data revealed that the majority of respondents consider relaxation an essential part of the training conclusion, aiding in restoring breathing, reducing muscle tension, and stabilizing emotional well-being. However, it was found that the effectiveness of the relaxation process often depends on the knowledge of participants or their fitness trainers and the methods available to them. The study determined that the most effective relaxation methods include breathing techniques, static muscle stretching, and yoga. Meanwhile, key challenges are the lack of time and some clients' inability to fully relax. The research emphasizes the recommendation to incorporate relaxation techniques at the end of fitness training programs and underlines the necessity of trainer guidance to ensure the effective execution of relaxation exercises. This work is a significant contribution to the practice of health and sports specialists, as it provides practical suggestions for enhancing the effectiveness of relaxation and highlights its importance for clients' emotional and physical health. Future research is encouraged to focus on comparing various relaxation techniques and their long-term effects on human well-being.
