Tika izmantoti šādi atslēgvārdi: "Apical surgery"; "Apical resection"; "Surgical endodontics"; "CBCT"; "Guided surgical endodontics"; "Magnification in endodontics”; “Retrograde Obturation”; “Root-end surgery”; “Root-end cavity preparation”; “Apicectomy”; “Radiographic outcome”; ” Biomaterials in endodontics” un “Rotary instruments in endodontics”.
Darbā tika izmantotas pilna teksta zinātniskie raksti (meta analīze, randomizēti pētījumi, literatūras apskats, klīniskie gadījumi un sistēmiskie pārskati). Zinātniskajā darbā iekļauta informācija no 66 avotiem.
Abstract Apical surgery is recommended for patients when conventional root canal treatment or retreatment has not resolved apical periodontitis, and pathological microflora remains at the periapical region. Apical surgery is an alternative to tooth extraction. It is a broad and technically complex topic, and this paper will discuss the indications and contraindications for apical surgery, the procedure itself, and the materials used. Purpose of work: Create a literature review on apical surgery and the materials and methods used during it. Tasks: 1-To find and summarize scientific literature on the methods used in apical surgery and the materials employed during the surgery. 2-To find and summarize scientific literature on the regenerative materials used in apical surgery, their advantages, and their indications for use. Methods and materials: The following keywords were used: "Apical surgery"; "Apical resection"; "Surgical endodontics"; "CBCT"; "Guided surgical endodontics"; "Magnification in endodontics”; “Retrograde Obturation”; “Root-end surgery”; “Root-end cavity preparation”; “Apicectomy”; “Radiographic outcome”; ” Biomaterials in endodontics” and “Rotary instruments in endodontics”. The work used full-text scientific articles (meta-analyses, randomized trials, literature reviews, clinical cases and systemic reviews). The scientific work includes information from 66 sources.
