Kopsavilkums
Bakalaura darbs.
Bachelor’s Thesis. The work consists of a literature review on knee joint cruciate ligament injuries in sports. The review includes knee joint anatomy, biomechanics, causes of injuries, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation processes. The practical part analyzes and interprets the results of strength, stability, and mobility indicators’ differences between injured and healthy legs in hockey players with cruciate ligament injuries after their careers. This was done using the Y-Balance Test, vertical jump test, and platform-based tests. The study concluded that cruciate ligament injuries in the knee joint can have a negative long-term effect on knee joint stability even after the end of an athlete’s career.
