Abstract
Psoriāze ir hroniska ādas iekaisuma slimība, kas var ietekmēt redzamās ķermeņa vietas. Tā ir nelipīga, sapīga, kropļojoša un invalidizējoša slimība, kas negatīvi ietekmē pacientu emocionālo dzīves pusi, pašvērtējumu, kā arī dzīves kvalitāti kopumā. Psoriāzes izplatība pasaulē svārstās no 0,09% līdz 11,4%, kas padara psoriāzi par nopietnu veselības problēmu.
Pētnieciskā darba apjoms ir 40 lpp, iekļauti pielikumi.
Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot psoriāzes pacientu personības pašvērtējumu.
Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode.
Darba instruments – daļēji strukturēta intervija ar 14 jautājumiem, kuru izstrādāja darba autore. Intervijā piedalījās 7 respondenti, no kuriem 4 vīrieši un 3 sievietes vecumā no 27 – 63 gadiem, kuriem dzīves gaitā tika uzstādīta diagnoze - psoriāzes saslimšana.
Pētījuma tiek pielietota kontentanalīzes metode. Intervijas dati tika apkopoti transkripcijas veidā.
Pētījuma iegūtie rezultāti sniedza atbildi uz pētījuma jautājumu, kas demonstrē psoriāzes pacientu personības pašvērtējumu. Pacienti, kuri slimo ar psoriāzi izjūt uztraukumu, stresu un apmulsumu.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin that may affect the visible areas of body. It’s a noncommunicable, painful, disfiguring and disabling disease that negatively affects patients' emotional side of life, self-esteem, as well as quality of life in general. The reported prevalence of psoriasis in countries ranges between. 0.09% and 11.4% , making psoriasis a serious global problem. The volume of the research work is 40 pages, appendices are included. The aim of the study was to find out the self - esteem of psoriasis patients. Qualitative research method was used to achieve the goal. Research tool - semi-structured interview with 14 questions, which were invented by the author of the work. The interview involved 7 respondents, of whom 4 were men and 3 women aged 27 to 63 years, who have been diagnosed with psoriasis throughout their lives. The method of content analysis is used in the research. Interview data were collected in the form of transcription. The results of the study provide an answer to the question which demonstrates the self-esteem of psoriasis patients. Patients with psoriasis experience anxiety, stress, and embarrassment.
