Abstract
Bakalaura darba temats ir pūļa finansējums kā alternatīva finanšu piesaistes metode Latvijas un Igaunijas jaunuzņēmumiem. Jaunuzņēmumu attīstība mūsdienās ir būtiska, lai sekmētu tehnoloģiju, zinātnes un pētniecības izpēti, uzlabotu valstu ekonomisko stāvokli un dzīves kvalitāti. Pūļa finansējums ir jauns un izplatīts finanšu piesaistes veids jaunuzņēmumiem. Pūļa finansējums ir arī labs veids investoriem ieguldīt finanšu resursus projektos, kuros redz potenciālu un gūt peļņu. Igaunijā un Latvijā ir atšķirīga jaunuzņēmumu un pūļa finansējuma vide, kuras tiks salīdzinātas, lai noskaidrotu, kādi faktori sekmē un traucē vides uzlabošanai.
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izvērtēt pūļa finansējumu kā alternatīvu finanšu piesaistes metodi Latvijas un Igaunijas jaunuzņēmumiem, konstatēt problēmas un rast risinājumus. Pētījumā tiek izmantotas 5 pētījuma metodes: monogrāfiskā metode, sekundārā datu analīze, grafiskā metode, gadījuma analīze un kvantitatīvā metode.
Pētījuma rezultātā darba autoram izdevās atbildēt uz izvirzīto pētījuma jautājumu – Igaunijā un Latvijā pūļa finansējums vēl nav kļuvis par populārāko alternatīvo finanšu piesaistes veidu jaunuzņēmumiem. Darba autors, balstoties uz veikto pētījumu secina, ka Igaunijā un Latvijā nav sakārtota pūļa finansējuma likumdošana. Pūļa finansējuma platformas tiek reģistrētas bez licences un kontroles. Igaunijā ir plaši attīstīta un aktīvāka pūļa finansēšanas un jaunuzņēmumu vide nekā Latvijā. Igaunijā ir dažādu pūļa finansējuma veidu platformas, kamēr Latvijā, galvenokārt, ir tiešsaistes biedrisko aizdevumu platformas. Pūļa finansējuma vide gan Igaunijā, gan Latvijā šobrīd nav pietiekami kontrolēta un uzraudzīta. Rezultātā sabiedrībai zūd uzticība pūļa finansējuma platformām. Balstoties uz secinājumiem darba autora galvenie priekšlikumi ir:
1. Eiropas Parlamentam ir jāpasteidzina kopējas Eiropas Savienības pūļa finansējuma regulas izveidošana, kura tiek šobrīd izstrādāta.
2. Latvijas Izglītības un zinātnes ministrija varētu pilnveidot vidusskolas ekonomikas priekšmetu, tajā iekļaujot mācību saturu par uzņēmējdarbības pamatiem, īpaši akcentējot uzmanību uz uzņēmējdarbības finansēšanas veidiem, tajā skaitā uz pūļa finansējumu.
3. Igaunijas un Latvijas pūļa finansējuma platformām jāuzlabo ārējā komunikācija, lai veicinātu sabiedrībā interesi iesaistīties šo platformu darbībā.

The topic of the bachelor thesis is Crowdfunding as an alternative method of attracting finance for Latvian and Estonian start-ups. The development of start-ups today is relevant considering research of new technologies, sciences and research studies and improve the economic situation and quality of life of countries. Crowdfunding is a new and widespread way of attracting finance to start-ups. Crowdfunding is also a good way for investors to invest financial resources in projects that see potential and make a profit. Estonia and Latvia have different start-up and crowdfunding environments which will be compared to find out which factors contribute to and hinder the improvement of the environment. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate crowdfunding as an alternative method of attracting finance for Latvian and Estonian start-ups to identify problems and find solutions. In the bachelor's thesis are used 5 research methods: monographic method, secondary data analysis, graphical method, case analysis and quantitative method. As a result of the research the author managed to answer the research question - in Estonia and Latvia crowdfunding has not become the most popular alternative way of attracting finance for start-ups yet. The author of the research concludes from the research that that the legislation on crowdfunding is not sorted in Estonia and Latvia. Crowdfunding platforms are registered without license and control. Estonia has widely developed and more active crowdfunding and start-up environment than Latvia. In Estonia are different type crowdfunding platforms while in Latvia are mainly peer to peer lending platforms. The crowdfunding environment in Estonia and Latvia is currently insufficiently controlled and monitored. As result public confidence in crowdfunding platforms is lost. Based on the conclusions the main proposals of the author are: 1. The European Parliament must speed up the establishment of a common European Union crowdfunding regulation which is currently being drafted. 2. The Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia could improve the subject of secondary school economics by including the content of studies on the basics of entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on the types of entrepreneurship financing including crowdfunding. 3. The Estonian and Latvian crowdfunding platforms should improve external communication in order to stimulate public interest in participating in these platforms. Bachelor thesis consists of 50 pages.
