Abstract
Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta aktuālā HIV infekcijas problēma Latvijā, īpaši pievēršoties Bauskas novadam. Veicot visaptverošu esošās literatūras apskatu un empīrisko izpēti, pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt problēmas, ar kurām saskaras HIV inficētās personas, lai piekļūtu sociālajam atbalstam un pakalpojumiem. Veicot intervijas ar speciālistiem, sociālajiem darbiniekiem un personām, kas dzīvo ar HIV, pētījumā mēģināts rast atbildes uz būtiskākajiem jautājumiem par sociālo pakalpojumu pašreizējo stāvokli, personu, kas dzīvo ar HIV, vajadzībām un esošo atbalsta sistēmu efektivitāti.
Pētījumu virza pieci galvenie uzdevumi: identificēt cilvēku, kas dzīvo ar HIV, galvenās problēmas un vajadzības saistībā ar sociālo atbalstu, analizēt sociālā darba nianses, risinot cilvēku, kas inficēti ar HIV, psihosociālos jautājumus un tiesības, izpētīt viņu viedokli par sociālo pakalpojumu pieejamību un kvalitāti, izpētīt pieejamos sociālos pakalpojumus un atbalsta mehānismus Bauskas novada un formulēt praktiski īstenojamus ieteikumus, lai uzlabotu sociālā darba praksi un atbalstu cilvēkiem, kas dzīvo ar HIV, Bauskas novadā.
The bachelor thesis examines the current problem of HIV infection in Latvia, with a special focus on the Bauska region. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and empirical research, the aim of the study is to uncover the challenges faced by HIV—infected persons in accessing social support and services. Through interviews with professionals, social workers and people living with HIV, the study seeks to answer key questions about the current state of social services, the needs of people living with HIV and the effectiveness of existing support systems. The study is guided by five main objectives: to identify the main problems and needs of people living with HIV in relation to social support, to analyse the nuances of social work in addressing the psychosocial issues and rights of people living with HIV, to explore their views on the availability and quality of social services, to explore the available social services and support mechanisms in Bauska municipality and to formulate actionable recommendations to improve social work practice and support for people living with HIV in Bauska municipality.
